I’m in love with this sport… even the parts that make me question my life choices 😂

The tears, the sweat & setbacks never defeated me. If anything, they’ve built me into a stronger athlete & an even stronger person mentally & physically.

The last two seasons are nowhere near what I envisioned, but they’ve grown me in ways I never expected. More than anything, my faith in God has grown tremendously. I’ve learned not to let the enemy’s lies distract me from the path God has for me, but to let patience have its perfect work.

Even in what many would call a terrible season, I’ve found so much joy. A new coach, a new environment, incredible people & lessons I know I’ll carry with me for the rest of my career.

Thank you to my team OTM, my sponsor JOMA, my family & my friends for standing beside me every step of the way & being SOO supportive. This sport will test your mind before anything else & I honestly would’ve have crashed out without y’all 😂

From day one, I dealt with ‘less-than-ideal circumstances,’ but that’s the nature of the sport. No excuses, just another chapter in my story.

I’ll be damned if I let these rocky seasons trick me out of what God has for me. On to the next. 🙏🏽

USA Champs Quick Debrief

First year working with all three of these ladies.

@tamari.davis — mechanics, nutrition, recovery, working the whole system this year and trending the right way. She’s a gamer. Showed up and left with a bronze.

@jadynmays — a bit of a grind since a hamstring injury at World Relays in April. In her words, she’s been racing on 1 1/2 hamstrings for four months! Going from 23-mid to 22-mid is testament to her character, and she leaves with her best ever finish at USAs: 4th, & a season’s best.

@shelbo800 — in her corner since November: weights, sprints, elastic strength, therapy. Genuinely fun work with an amazing athlete and person, solid run — & a silver medal. Great to play a small part!

Super-proud of all three. And much more to come.

Thanks to @jeffcohenphoto for the awesome pics
