All good things must come to an end.

I can’t imagine my life without track. It has been the basis of my life for the past 10 years. It has truly shaped me into the person I am today, so many lessons learned. I am forever grateful for the friendships and experiences that I’ve gained from this sport. I am so incredibly proud of every person that I’ve had the pleasure to call my teammate, I know exactly how much effort and time is sacrificed to be the best you can be. To my coaches and everyone who has ever believed in me and supported me, thank you 🩷

as this chapter of my life ends I look back and thank God for it all🤍
I thank Him for giving me the ability to run for 13 years. I thank Him for the ability to learn an entire new event my freshman year. I thank Him for guiding me through each struggle I faced. Some days I thought about quitting but He knew I needed track. He knew I needed the lessons it taught me. I would not be the person I am, the women I am, or the mother I am without track.

But I thank Him the most for giving me my friends. He knew I would need them to get through these past five years and that I will need them for the rest of my life. I love each and every one of y’all so much 💛💙
