There’s nothing quite like finding a home church you can truly call home.
Daystar became that place for me nearly two decades ago, a house that didn’t just welcome me, but shaped me. A house built on clarity, excellence, intentional love, integrity, excellence, accountability and faith… and somehow, those core values found their way into my own becoming.

This is one core place where my gifts found expression, where my voice grew strong, where I learned to serve with joy, lead with grace, think with wisdom, and love with depth.
This is the family that taught me that being rooted is strength, that stability produces stature, and that community can hold you up in seasons when you can’t hold yourself.

I am especially grateful for our spiritual parents, Dr. Sam & Pastor Nike Adeyemi. Their leadership has been pure grace: steady, visionary, authentic, and deeply fathering/mothering in the ways that matter most.
They have poured, prayed, encouraged, corrected, empowered, and believed.
And I carry the evidence of their impact everywhere I go.

So today, as Daystar Christian Centre turns 30, my heart is full.
Full of gratitude, full of honour, and full of joy for a house that has raised role models, lifted nations, and changed countless lives - mine included.

Happy Birthday to my first home, my forever cheerleader, and my greatest earthly gift — my Mum.

Thank you for being a woman of strength, faith, and deep compassion. Your prayers carry me, your wisdom grounds me, and your love continues to shape the person I am becoming.

It was such a joy to have you with me at Elevate Worship Conference — standing beside me in the vision, just like you always have in life. I honour you today, not just as my mother, but as a woman worthy of celebration for who you are, all you’ve given, and all you still carry.

May this new year bring you rest, joy, and answered prayers. I love you deeply.

Nothing exists in isolation, you always need leverage. You always have to build with the the strengths of others.

I'm delighted and blessed to be able to co-build, serve this community and work alongside the most yielded, humble and God fearing team. We all came together as simple people who believed in More! And without a defined initial plan, putting one foot in front of the other to build and steward a vision that the Lord put in our hearts.

When we got together, we didn't picture a Live Recording, we just followed the rhythm of God's heart and we landed here with the support of our friends, mentors, family and community. Now, one of our songs, #SingYourPraise by @incenseglobal is out, and we got more coming your way soon. You should be expectant. If you haven't listened to Sing Your Praise, hurry to your favorite streaming platform/store to stream, download and share!

And on a little personal note, one of the most beautiful things that #Incense Global Live recording & project did for me is give me a fresh opportunity to connect with friends in the way that I really love to, worshiping the Lord together. I love communal worship. I love praying with and ministering to the Lord & people, and I have been afforded that opportunity with this beautiful worship musical collective that we created. We also had the opportunity as a group to move from "me myself and I" to "us, the Lord, the vision and the community." The Lord is still in the business of deliverance. I feel He wants to deliver so many in our society from the natural selfish nature of man that hinders him from real progress, real impact and real fulfilment. We have so much more to think about than what serves us alone especially in our world today - in our Nation today. That is the essence of humanity. To love and to serve. And Jesus summarised it; "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself." - Matthew 22: 37-39

Dear Worship Leader, since our normal has been disrupted with the pandemic, every organization, business and enterprise has leveraged the virtual world to be able to still provide support and conduct daily businesses.

Leading Worship without a physical congregation can be a little tasking, however, I’d like you to know that with every problem has come new opportunities to grow and thrive.
