I've had a very exciting summer.

For those of you who don't know: throughout my youth, I took dance classes on and off. It was always a fun hobby to have on week nights, but was never my primary focus or what I wanted to do with my life.
After high school, dancing was only really something I did at parties or when I was home alone cleaning.
Once I finished my PhD, I decided to revisit dance. As I became more serious about dancing, I was lucky enough to become a part of @yinhedc and @knockout_chi - places where I didn't have to be a bright young 18 year old to succeed and build community as a dancer.
I know I will never be a professional dancer, but I also have now learned that I have what it takes to be a successful dancer in my corner of the world and I am so, so happy with everything I have done in the last two and a half years.
Huge thank yous to both of my dance crews, and an extra shout out to both @__lauren_christine__ and @yutonew who pulled me into this world and have stood by my side for both of our wins this year.

✨concert photo dump✨

1) Taemin…seeing this man is an *experience* there is no other way to put it. I’m not sure any performer can leave an impact like him and he’s the cutest human alive to top it off. The battle for these tickets was a top three stressful experience but worth it 100%.

2) Yugyeom…this was an ill-conceived idea because I just got home from Japan that day (🤦🏼‍♀️) but I’m glad I pushed through because the man is my got7 bias for a reason, I am obsessed with him. The dance moves? His general happiness? He just makes me smile. Love 🫶🏻

3) Jay B, missed @oompaloompaah so much at this concert but @vinnie_peluso was a good sport to tag along 💚Also his voice? In person? I will never get over this concert. Seeing Switch It Up live was just…..😵

4) Baekhyun. That voice. He is just as talented and quirky and weird as I imagined and this concert was pure fun. One of the only men I’ll drive to Rosemont for, iykyk.

5) STRAY KIDS. Honestly I was in shock most of this concert. Them, at wrigley, it was just so surreal and these boys can put on a show. I glittered my whole office for this concert and I’m not sorry. Felix and Bang Chan have my heart ❤️‍🔥
