Happy ballgown Thursday!
Well, today is Lillian's very last day of middle school. We'll be at her graduation ceremony for a good part of the morning. Hopefully we'll get a good photo after the fact, so keep an eye out for my story later on today.
I'm a little bit in awe that my kid will be starting high school in a couple of months. Who sped up the clock?
Until then, I'll be savoring every minute we have together this summer.
With all of the excitement today, my replies might be a bit later than usual.

Until then, my question for today is-
If you could pick one city whose character best represents your own personality, which would you choose?
Mine is New Orleans.

FINALLY posting the yarn I spun up from the beautiful batt I received from @solunaceae @oonamoth during the fun secret art batt exchange put on by @byodelia

Spun a single that was autowrapped with silver thread. Then plied with black mohair yarn, silver, and gold thread(I only did gold because my silver ran out halfway through plying😂🤦‍♂️...I like it with both though!!)

Spinning keeps both hands and feet plugged in, and stopping makes me lose momentum😈 gotta spin the whole however many ounces of fiber before I can check my phone😆

Happy ballgown Thursday!
I'm on the struggle bus with brain fog today. I wish I could figure out what triggers these episodes, but with my head feeling this cloudy, I just can't. Lol
I just know that they started when I was in perimenopause (and never left) and that taking naps helps.
Does anyone else here get brain fog? If so, have you identified any triggers?
I'm going to keep this post short and save whatever brain power I've got left for a visit with the hilarious and amazing @jeffersonvoices
I'm spinning a superb batt by @oonamoth today and enjoying it so much!

*Today's question* When you were a little kid, what was your favorite article of clothing?
Mine were a pair of patent leather maryjane shoes. The kind with the slippery soles. My "shiny shoes". Man, I miss those shoes.

These are merely a sprinkle of some of the amazing moments from Crossroads. Alex and I are in the process of making a video to share with all of you through our youtube channel (our first!) and are reliving this wonderful weekend as we sort through photos. We know that we’ve said it a million times, but it deserves a million more! Thank you to all of the demonstrators, vendors, volunteers, and festival attendees who made Crossroads so magical ✨ We can’t wait for next year!!
