✨#ThankfulThursday: Watch Your Mouth 🎧 Podcaster 📗 Author 💼 Chief of Strategy & Staff 🤝🏽 Consultant ⚕️ Public Health Worker 🧠 Career Strategist 🗣️ Public Speaker 💛 Community Organizer 📆 Event Planner Over the past three years, my career has taken me places I only dreamt of in silence. I’m not going to front—working a 9-to-5 and then owning a 6-to-10 can be very trying. Whether I’m building resumes & securing job placement for students, negotiating contracts & leading walkthroughs, sitting behind the mic or telling my truth in front of it, advocating for mental health, or doubling down on public health—it has all become part of my toolkit, & it hasn’t always been easy. But this morning, I woke up to Proverbs 18:21: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Then I heard a word from @itsannajoy, and I was humbled, grateful, and reflective about the work I get to do. Somewhere in there, I also had to ask God to forgive me for the times I have complained. Because whether it was needing a new vehicle without the ideal credit score, keeping my lights on when I had a pink slip, moving His hand so that my rent did not increase but my clientele did, or simply making sure my name was mentioned in rooms that would promote my gifts—I’ve never been without. So, I will not only steward my gifts better, but I’ll also watch my mouth and shift my tongue toward more gratitude and more life. • • #OOTR #Consulting #ExplorePage #FYP

✨#MeetHimMondays : “You’ll Know Them by Their Fruit…”✨ The Bible says that you will know a tree by the fruit it bears. It also says that every good tree bears good fruit & that a good tree cannot bear bad fruit. Yesterday, it hit my heart that in all my careers, in this journey to encapsulate—to articulate exactly what it is that I do for a living, I am bearing fruit! You see from Author to Mobile Expansion Coordinator, C.E.O. to Co-Director of Programming & Entertainment, to Podcaster, it often feels like I have to pick what to talk about when folks ask what I do for a living. When instead, I should just say, “I bear fruit!” 🍇: As an Author, I create mental health journals & discussion groups for men to grow & express themselves. 🍌: As an Mobile Expansion Coordinator, I design & facilitate large scale health events around Houston’s precincts that provide otherwise inaccessible, free to low-cost health services to every Houstonian & their animals. 🍓: As a C.E.O., I run a consulting firm that helps for profits, non profits, & boutique businesses position themselves & their brands in local & broad communities. In addition to connecting youth to summer scholarship programming & mentorship. As well as providing career consulting, resume crafting, & career connections. 🍎: As a Co-Director of Programming & Entertainment, I utilize my programming skills, partnered with my fraternity’s national programming to design effective events that increase access & education accross Black communities. 🍋: As a Podcaster, I produce a podcast (that is halfway to Season 5) that shares all Black truths, while providing a theraputic outlet for myself as well as my viewers. This #LaborDay, as we honor workers’ achievements and highlight labor rights, I also usher in the close of summer with rest and reflection on the branches my tree is bearing. I am reminded of where my roots are planted—in God, community, and the joy of serving and impacting others. I remind myself that no good thing is ever wasted, and that fruit harvested by God can never be spoiled by man! 🍉🍍🍊: DROP SOME FRUIT & CELEBRATE WITH ME! • • #OOTR #Bible #Fruit #FYP #Share #Houston #ExplorePage

✨#MeetHimMondays: The House That Summer Built!✨ “You can’t be what you can’t see” is more than a theme—it’s a movement at Summer House Institute. And this weekend, I became even more of what I never saw myself as… but now do: Him! In just under six weeks, my team at OOTR Consulting planned what typically takes a year—bringing together powerhouse educators, nonprofit leaders, and entrepreneurs from across Texas and Pennsylvania for #EdFest25! I got to craft and be part of a dream I didn’t even know I had—thanks to Vincent Cobb! I had the honor of curating panels on: 📚Effective leadership in education 👩🏾‍🏫 Women in entrepreneurship 💸 Financial literacy & credit building 🧠 Mental health & wellness 🎓 HBCU culture 📖 And hands-on educational activations that empower teachers to own their lessons and their careers Summer House Institute may be 80% my client and 20% my employer—but this weekend made it even MORE clear: I’m 100% all in. Every year, I get to work alongside Black and Brown students and fellows who expand the definition of what education, entrepreneurship, and excellence look like. ✊🏾: I’m so in awe that my friends and colleagues showed up and out this weekend! Here’s to transforming more communities, rewriting narratives, and building the house we’ve been waiting for. 📸: @rashiid.marcell • • #OOTR #SHI #Philly #Houston #Fellows #EdFest25 #Texas #Pennsylvania #HBCUs #EducationMatters #Entrepreneurship #BackToSchool #Empowerment #YouCantBeWhatYouCantSee #FYP #ExplorePage

10 years ago, this was just an idea. A space where people didn’t just arrive, they belonged. A space that gave, that listened, that saw people for who they were and could be. That’s what @summerhouseinstitute became. Now I got to share the stage again with @vinny2nd and a crew of absolute legends—friends, family, people who show up and deliver every single time. This isn’t just full-circle. This is proof of what happens when you build for impact. And I swear… it’s just warming up. #edfest25

On Saturday, December 21st, we came together with @ootrconsulting and @kidsmealshouston to bring joy to a family of 11 facing incredible challenges. Thanks to the generous support and donations, we were able to purchase over 130 items from their Christmas Wish List! As we delivered the gifts, the gratitude and joy on their faces reminded us of the true meaning of the holiday season—love, compassion, and community. To everyone who donated, shared, and supported this cause: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You’ve made a difference that will be felt far beyond this holiday season. Together, we proved that generosity has the power to light up lives. Here’s to continuing the spirit of giving all year round! ❤️ #HolidayGiving #CommunityLove #Gratitude #MakingADifference

✨ #MeetHimMondays : “A Private Ride” ✨ “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” — John 14:27, NIV For so long, I sought the validation of others—through words, affirmations, & especially their opinions! Today my @menarewrite journal asked me: “What are you most grateful for thus far in life?” Here are a few things: 🧠: Flipping my mindset—what’s the BEST that could happen? ❤️‍🩹 : I’m allowing other to care for me, & allowing “it” to happen… 💙: I can love! I’m not focussing on the “brokenness” anymore! Truly… 🚫: I’m no longer relying on other people for my peace. The place it should have been placed the entire time, is with God! I NOW understand that! 🙊: I don’t have to share EVERYTHING with EVERYONE—that validation is NO LONGER required; &, it’s okay for me to live a quiet life in quiet places! 🆙: New people who set a standard, reinforce what healthy feels like, & remind me of gratitude! 🫂: Feeling my feelings! I’m sensitive in areas, & that’s okay! “Sensitive” doesn’t make me weak, it makes me AWARE! 📆: Being able to do things & show up alone & in private—is this what y’all been doing this whole time & what I’ve been missing? I love it here! 🚙: This season of my life! What comes from it has been tithed unto God; so, I’m here enjoying the ride! 🗣️TALK TO ME: WHAT ARE YOU MOST GRATEFUL FOR THUS FAR IN LIFE? 👉🏽: While you’re at it, enjoy some swipes from the “ride” this season! • • #OOTR #Love #SelfLove #God #Monday #MentalHealth #MorningInspiration #Healing #HolidaySeason #Houston #FYP #ExplorePage

The ALLICE Collective would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Community Leadership Council of United Way of Greater Houston for selecting us to receive this incredible $10,000 incentive. We know that no one is obligated to support us, and it humbles us deeply to be entrusted with this kind of generosity. As a smaller nonprofit, we’ve been operating with limited resources and the generous donation of time from passionate individuals. This incentive gives us a strong start to the first quarter of 2025, allowing us to breathe a little, focus on improving our programs, and take steps toward expanding the services we offer to the community. Here’s how this gift will make an impact: * Covering office expenses for three months, providing a safe and welcoming space for our work. * Hosting weekly community groups with light breakfast and coffee, creating meaningful spaces for connection and support. * Funding Cycle 2 of our 13-week Wisdom & Worth Youth Wellness Initiative, empowering middle school students with free wellness workshops, creative expression activities, and personal development sessions. The ALLICE Collective is beyond grateful to everyone who chooses to support what we’re building. It’s a reminder that we’re part of something bigger, and that together, we’re creating the kind of connections and communities we all deserve. Thank you to the Community Leadership Council of United Way of Greater Houston for believing in us and helping us move our mission forward. #theallicecollective #unitedwayofgreaterhouston #ittakesavillage #blackmentalhealth #wisdomandworthyouthwellnessinitiative #blackmenhealing #blackwomenhealing #blacknonprofits

✨#TestimonyTuesday : “ My 501C3 + Pink Cloak!”✨ 7) “Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. ‘Quick, get up!’ he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists. 8) Then the angel said to him, ‘Put on your clothes and sandals.’ And Peter did so. ‘Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,’ the angel told him.” -Acts 12:7-8 NIV In 2020, God granted me a vision to start The Robert H. Johnson Endowment—a non profit centered around community; health care, education, & access for our people, while exposing them to college & career readiness—specifically HBCU culture! “SUDDENLY;” today, after 4 long years, & 2 on hold with the IRS, I got a call at 9:29 am that will forever change my life & the life of those in communities broadly: We have OFFICIALLY been granted our 501C3 status! I paused on the phone for a moment, didn’t know rather to cry or shout! I am grateful to the great people at Lone Star Legal Aid for holding my hand & my paper work for 4 complete years—specifically Attourney Ashea Jones Brown for starting me on my way and Attorney Kimberly Brown for carrying the baton the the finish line! I am not an LLC. Owner, Author, & (NOW) Official-Non Profit Owner…& just a year ago, I was facing a lay off! I pray this blesses someone! Grateful for the chains that are broken; & now, similar to Peter, I’ll take my (pink) cloak, & walk…also, if you want one of these ‘cloaks,’ just ask! 😂 Now, our team can truly begin to work & serve! So, so, so, so many doors are opening. Amen! *If you want to work together, want to connect, or still want a pink cloak—let’s connect! • • #OOTR #Grateful #NonProfit #501C3 #Houston #Texas #Blessed #Blessings #TrustGod #Pink #Bible #Miracles #Surprise #Tuesday #God #Testimony #Lawyers #Victoriassecret #FYP #Share #ExplorePage
