Build the foundation of fundamentals first

1️⃣ Glove out front: field the ball where you can see it, not under your body

2️⃣ Butt down: get low and stay low through the ball

Get those two right and everything else gets easier.

Build the base first ⚾️

If you’re 14 and you want to play college baseball, the clock’s already running. That’s not a bad thing. It’s an opportunity.

Most young players worry about getting noticed before they’ve built anything worth noticing.

If I could go back, here’s what I’d focus on: get ONE PCT BTR every day, take school seriously, know how you’re developing, own the weight room, and build a mindset that doesn’t crack after a bad game.

Recruiting isn’t about being seen. It’s about becoming a player a program can’t pass on.

Four years is plenty of time. If you stack the days.

Comment “ONE PCT” and I’ll send you where to start. 👇

Would you send him or hold him at 3rd?

Send to a friend who runs the bases aggressively

Sometimes you have to use an analogy to get the technique across 💩

Stop fielding ground balls standing up. 🚫

Butt down. Athletic. Glove presented. That’s how it starts. 🧤

100% COMMITTED 🏡🏡

I am beyond blessed to announce my commitment to National Park College!

First and foremost, I’d like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because without him I am nothing and he blessed me; both through trial and triumph, the work ethic to be here now.

Secondly I’d like to thank my mom, my stepdad Craig, my 3 sisters and step-brother for all of the support and love throughout the journey.

Third I’d like to thank my second family at Cy-Fair High School, I am beyond grateful to have a coaching staff and a brotherhood that I am so close to and pushes me to my best daily. I’m so blessed to have 2 families I love in my life. I’d also like to give a shoutout to Carson Lee and Charlie Stegent for all the help throughout my journey.

Finally, I’d like to thank Coach Bacon and his staff for granting me the opportunity to fulfill my lifelong dream of playing collegiate baseball, I promise I’ll put 110% everyday. GO NIGHTHAWKS, THANK YOU JESUS.

Romans 8:18 “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”
