Violet Prayers

———//———

In Hellissandur, spring slowly gives way to brighter days as Iceland moves closer to the season of endless light. Captured during a soft sunset 3years ago, this scene blends the vibrant purple lupines, pastel skies, and the iconic church overlooking the landscape in a moment of calm before summer fully arrives.

In just a few months, the Midnight Sun will take over, bathing this region in near constant daylight and transforming the rhythm of life across Iceland.

This location will also become even more special on August 12, 2026, when the Solar eclipse will cross Iceland, bringing a rare moment of darkness to a land so deeply connected to light during summer.

A quiet moment captured aboard a ferry sailing through the tranquil Oslo Fjord, where a lone traveler in vibrant red gazes thoughtfully at the scenic Norwegian coastline. The soft breeze lifts the rainbow flag gently, adding color and meaning to the frame, symbolizing inclusiveness amidst nature’s calm expanse. The forest-covered slopes in the distance and the stillness of the deep-blue water offer a serene escape from the noise of the world.

This photograph isn't just a travel frame—it’s a reflection of solitude, freedom, and belonging. The man leaning on the railing, deep in thought, invites us to slow down and take in the simple beauty of the journey itself. As the fjord flows past, we’re reminded that some of the most powerful stories are told not through words, but through quiet observation and heartfelt stillness. 🌊
