Two little vegan ladies walk in to a max one rep bench press in a CrossFit competition… only one team beat us, and they were two dudes 😜.

Just two plant-powered girls representing Vegan Strong Team x PlantBuilt and reminding everyone that plants have all the protein you need. 🌱💚

Starting over is never easy…in life, in training, in a new place, in a new gym, after injury (especially at my age). And when it comes all at once it can feel like an insurmountable impossibility.

Grateful for my kids for keeping me grounded these past two months. And for my new gym @openboxathletics for helping make the transition a little easier, getting me back on track in training and making me feel right at home 🙏.

Things are coming together in ways I didn’t expect at this stage in my fitness journey, and I’m starting to feel strong again. Hitting numbers I haven’t seen in a long time during one of my faves, “The Other CrossFit Total”!

I’m so fortunate and grateful my body still allows me to do this, and for the much needed distraction/focus lately..

Keep going. Keep showing up.

The only way is forward…
