The Fest of the Porch. Still taking it in-so much goodness and an opportunity to view things from another perspective, kind of like when you’re on vacation. When you’re on vacation, you’re out of your routine and the way you see things and the way you act and what you see is different. It made me feel confident that our connections can help us get through any kind of crisis caused by the people who own a million things, who have a lot of money and control a lot of things that tend to break apart the light that elevates us…our connections can get us through, because we are of the strength of so much goodness, and can work together, creatively and structurally, step by step to develop something that surpasses any challenge because we’re smart and resourceful and cooperative and positive.

The thing about this Fest is that it’s just one community and there are lots of these similar types of communities in this area and in other areas and those connections help me to believe that it is all of us that are going to get us through any kind of destructive things.

-Sincerely, from the perspective of this Aquarian.

P.S. “Fear is contagious” and we don’t want to go that route if we can help it. (Sometimes it’s challenging to stop the fear and that’s ok, too).

Thanks to @openmicwithceni for all the hard work, step by step, working to create the “feat” of porches, working with the @porchfest_sebastopol team, volunteers, community, playing drums with me and sparking the idea two years ago.

We had such a great time at this year’s Sebastopol PorchFest! 🎶☀️ There’s something pretty special about walking through town, running into people you know, hearing music coming from porches, and seeing so many people out enjoying Sebastopol together.

What an incredible turnout! This neighborhood was the perfect setting for an event like this, and I hope the neighbors loved it as much as everyone else did.

A huge thank you to the neighbors, musicians, volunteers, and everyone who made it happen. Beautiful weather, great music, and community coming together. Such a fun day! ❤️
