💛💙 WE DID IT… AND THEN SOME MORE! 🎁

Our Raiders community set out with a goal of filling 100 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.

And thanks to your incredible generosity, we didn’t just reach our goal… we smashed it!

🎉 151 SHOEBOXES! 🎉

That’s 151 boxes filled with gifts, essential items and love, ready to bring joy to children around the world. That’s 151 children who will experience the joy of receiving a special gift, thanks to the generosity of our Raiders community! 💛💙

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who donated, contributed supplies, helped pack boxes or supported this initiative in any way.

We are incredibly proud of our Raiders community and what we can achieve together beyond the netball court.

More than a netball club 💛💙

Small boxes, big love! @operationchristmaschild ❤️🎁 Our Children’s Ministry is getting ready for Operation Christmas Child, and Sunset Youth had the joy of helping put the shoeboxes together!

Now it’s YOUR turn! Our church family can pick up a box, fill it with gifts, and help share God’s love with children around the world. 🌎

Let’s spread some joy, one shoebox at a time!

As we come upon this season of thanks and the celebration of Jesus Christ, our Savior, we will be partnering with @operationchristmaschild to give boxes of love to needy children this Christmas!

We will be filling the boxes on November 17th and 18th on our Lutheran service days. If your family would like to participate, you can have your child bring a small gift to school on Tuesday, November 17th and Wednesday, November 18th for a preschool-aged boy or girl. We will fill two boxes for each class. One box for a preschool-aged boy and one for a preschool-aged girl. You can go to www.samaritanspurse.org/occ for gift suggestions for the boxes. We also ask that two families donate $10.00 to cover the shipping costs. You can pay online at www.samaritanspurse.org/occ or bring a check made out to “Samaritan Purse”. Please let your teacher or room parent know if you are a family that is donating the $10 shipping fee.

We want to bring the hope of Christ to as many children as possible all over the world. We praise God for your continued partnership in reaching children in need through Operation Christmas Child.

*We also have extra boxes available in the church and preschool office if you would like to take a box to fill as a family. All boxes will be collected in the church office by November 16th.

Operation Christmas Child is an international Christian relief and evangelism organization that works with churches in over 100 countries around the world to bless children and share the Good News of God’s love.

Should you have any questions about the Operation Christmas Child project, please feel free to contact the church office at 714.637.0887 ext. 155 or Mrs. Mora at ext. 153.

Thank you for your support!

A shoebox is more than a gift. It's an opportunity to share who Jesus Christ is, and to remind a child somewhere in the world that they are seen, known and deeply loved. ❤️

Through @operationchristmaschild, every shoebox packed with toys, school supplies and personal care items becomes a real, tangible reminder of God’s love.

Pack yours and bring it to a local drop-off location November 16–23. Find one near you at the link in our bio.
