The horses wear EARPRO either plugs or a mask, we use 2 single action 45 Colt revolvers loaded with black powder blanks that are spectator safe (no one wants to catch a 200gr piece of lead) I promise you it’s not easy we all practice ALOT! Man, last week was a crazy one. Got home from the World Shoot in Greece late Tuesday, worked Wednesday and Thursday, then headed to Memorial 3-Gun through some wild weather, with tornadoes touching down in nearby towns.
Now that the dust has settled, I’ve had time to reflect, and one thing is clear: we truly have a special 3-Gun community here in the US.
We poke fun at each other and talk plenty of smack, but when the chips are down, we show up for each other. That’s something special, and something we probably take for granted.
The sponsors and vendors who continue to support these matches, despite the state of the economy and industry, deserve a lot of credit. They continue to invest in this sport and give back in a big way.
The same goes for the range officers and match staff. The time and effort they put in to make these events happen are incredible. After competing internationally, I have an even greater appreciation for what we have here at home. Our ROs are the salt of the earth, and they help make this sport what it is.
Zoo City Armory knocked it out of the park. Fast, fun stages, great challenges, and match flow that’s about as good as it gets. Aside from the weather, I honestly don’t know that there’s a better-run match out there.
I had a blast with my squad. Plenty of cutting up, talking smack, and getting after it!
This year was especially meaningful because I got to bring my kids along. I want them to understand firsthand the impact military service has on our lives, why we honor those who served, and why we must never forget the sacrifices made by those who never made it home.
Their stories deserve to be told. Their sacrifices deserve to be remembered. And their legacies deserve to live forever.
Proud to be part of this community and to share what Memorial 3-Gun represents with my kids.

Wanted to wait on this post until I got the better pictures taken at the awards ceremony, but people jumped the gun and the cats out of the bag. Although I will say it’s pretty amazing the amount of enthusiasm from organizations, sponsors, and friends, that there has been they past few days for my victory is pretty incredible, and it’s inspiring! Definitely encouraging in ways I didn’t think possible!!!

So here it is folks, the awards ceremony Saturday evening in Pawhuska, Oklahoma made it official, so allow me to show it to y’all! This past weekend I took home 2nd overall for the entire year in Military Rodeo. #2026PAFRARESWORLDCHAMPIONBULLRIDER

I wana say thank you to all my family, friends, and sponsors who helped make this year possible I couldn’t have done it without y’all! And most importantly, all this glory goes to show the amazing glory of our lord and savior! Without him riding with me and keeping me safe, I’d of never made it even a week into the season!

Through injuries and setbacks, that seemed like they were never ending, we pushed through and we finished strong, taking home the 1st go round Win at the finals, and ending the Finals as the Reserve World Champion for Military Rodeo!

Even ended the season as the Highest Earning Bull Rider in the Military Rodeo Circuit this year, taking home the most Money out of all the Bull Riders who competed all year!!!

🏁 P2 in 50+ at the Golden Eagle – Stillwater 500! 🏁

Another great weekend of racing in the books! The day started out pretty cool, but by my last two tests, temperatures had climbed to 90 degrees. The course featured tight, dry conditions and some awesome single-track sections that made for a challenging and rewarding race.

I’m happy to bring home 2nd place in the 50+ class! 💪
