Around our holiday table, people from every walks of life came together - each of them carying their own unique story and set of challenges. It was a beautiful reflection of what HaGal Sheli is all about: creating a safe space where people can come as they are, connect with others, and discover the power of the sea and surfing to create meaningful change. As we enter the new year, we remain as committed as ever to growing our circles of impact and helping more people catch their wave. Wishing you and your loved ones a healthy, happy, and meaningful new year, filled with fresh starts, good waves, and wonderful moments together! โ€œA renewed sense of freedom.โ€ Thatโ€™s how Tom Hand describes what the sea has given his two daughters - Emily, kidnapped at age 8 and held hostage in Gaza, and Natalie, who lost her mother on October 7 and fought tirelessly for Emilyโ€™s safe return. Two sisters and their unbreakable bond. Two wounds the world shouldnโ€™t hand to anyone. One afternoon of saltwater, surfing, and empowerment as part of their ongoing participation in HaGal Sheliโ€™s surf therapy program. ๐Ÿคโœจ

The world may feel scarier than ever right now, but sometimes all we can do to provide comfort is reassure ourselves that weโ€™re in this together. In moments like these, HaGal Sheliโ€™s ability to be an anchor in the heart of the storm, moving from immediate stabilization to structured therapeutic programs, is not only relevant - it is essential. Meeting people in shock and helping guide them toward healing - thatโ€™s what matters most. ๐Ÿ“ฉ Please reach out if you need anything, and go to our link in bio support HaGal Sheliโ€™s emergency efforts. #EmergencyResponse #TraumaSupport #LionsRoar
