OPM 2.0 rises above the Accord Hotel like a quiet lookout, offering a lovely sweep of city lights. The décor is elegant in an understated way, with clean lines, soft colours and seats arranged along tall glass windows. The view could be better if the glass were clearer and the reflections dimmed, but it still holds charm. What breaks the calm is the live music. Whether it was the singer or the acoustics, the volume overwhelmed the space. The soft background music during the breaks suited the ambience far better. The food, however, carried the evening with confidence. The Baghdadi murgh tikka was tender and mild but salted too boldly. The tandoori angrezi phool was exquisite, broccoli turned silky with its malai coat, though the portion was timid. The khao suey was rich and comforting, the crispy noodles and fried onions adding welcome texture. The honey glazed lotus stem was crisp and balanced, again served in a portion that left us wanting more. The standout was the tori karaage. Each piece was beautifully crisp outside and tender within, seasoned with assurance. The yakhani shorba warmed the palate with depth. The Thai green curry was lush with coconut and gentle heat, though the jasmine rice had to be ordered separately at a price that felt unnecessary. The mee goreng looked stunning but tasted uneven, the noodles pleasant while the chicken satay was too dry. The pan fried noodles were decent though the gravy clung too thickly. Desserts steadied the meal. The black sticky rice was intriguing and comforting, with sweet and salty notes lifted by fruit. The red rubies offered crisp water chestnuts in a coconut base that needed a touch more richness. What truly shaped the night was Atharv, whose service carried warmth and genuine care. His guidance made the experience feel personal. OPM 2.0 stands close to greatness. The food shines often, the ambience holds promise, and the service finds brilliance in the right hands. With a little refinement, it could reach the heights it aims for. 9/10 @opm2.0
