I was honored in Baltimore over the weekend by @persianicole & @powermovesinthecity at @oppbaltimore Legacy isn’t something you leave behind. It’s something you build while you’re here.

Honored to receive the Legacy Builder Award at Power Moves in the City. When I started this journey, I wasn’t chasing recognition. I just wanted to create spaces where Black excellence wasn’t just celebrated, but supported, connected, and given room to grow.

There have been sacrifices, setbacks, and plenty of moments when the vision was bigger than the resources. But moments like this remind me that the work matters.

I’m still building. Still learning. Still creating opportunities for our people. And if there’s one thing I know, it’s that the legacy will always be bigger than the person building it. ✊🏿

This weekend owes me nothing but a full day in bed! S/O to @oppbaltimore for the “Tasting Series”

1st mistake was eating fried rice before coming cause I thought I wouldn’t get full off oysters but these aren’t your average oysters baby! THE CHARGRILLED OYSTERS WITH LOBSTER was fulfilling alone!!!

Everything was amazing from the service, to the vibes, the art, the food, the drinks, the banana pudding…….THE BANANA PUDDING!!!!
I wanted to get a video of my good friend @itslilmobaby slaying in that kitchen! 👩🏾‍🍳😘❤️
I even made a new friend yall! Hey @nailzdid_byjoey 🫶🏽❤️😊

@ceosammydavisjr @oppbaltimore has always been such a huge supporter of the arts, and he took that support to another level by opening a restaurant where artists can actually showcase and sell their work. That means so much to our community!
A huge thank you to him for creating a space where food, art, and culture can all come together. I’m truly honored and grateful to be a part of it.

And the food?! INSANE. I had the tomahawk steak, and it literally melted in my mouth. I already can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
So excited for everything ahead, The marathon continues✨
