I genuinely think we’re normalising something we should actually be trying to fix: our shrinking attention spans.

We’ve gotten so used to scrolling, switching, skipping and moving on that even a 5 minute movie can feel too some people.

And now creators are being taught to make everything faster, shorter and more stimulating just to keep people watching.

But at what point do we stop adapting everything around our inability to focus and start teaching ourselves and our children how to actually sit with something?

Because honestly, I miss the days when you watched the movie even when it got boring. 😂

Are we adapting to shorter attention spans, or are we creating them?

I’d really love to hear your thoughts.

A mother ordered a beautiful birthday cake for her son and had no idea there were metal pins hidden inside to hold some of the decorations in place.

The children ate the cake and some of those pins were swallowed.

As parents and caregivers, it’s easy to assume everything on a cake is edible. This story is a reminder to remove any non edible decorations before the first slice is served.

Have you ever checked a cake for hidden decorations before giving it to your child, or is this something you’d never thought about?

Creating content is hard and it’s a job we must all do since we have to be seen to make sales online.

These was one of those series that gave me chills.
It got me asking when the right time is as a parent to back off and let your child make the right decisions for themselves.
We’re all new at this parenting thing and God knows I want to be a good parent. 🥹
