POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The best part of my career is creating, not just art but environments that people want to be in. Joining people together to experience what we’ve created.
These are just a few of the highlights of ‘inside the box’ last week.
600 people turned up to experience our show and you just wait to see what we do next 👊🏼

Great end to the week, bring on September! Nothing like an art show to start the weekend with partner in fun @chloethirteen

Inside the Box — street art meets Regency grandeur on Brunswick Square, Brighton.

Curated by TBOY, featuring a great selection of local artists and from further afield including, The Postman, Cassette Lord, Orangeboy, Jameson Robinson, Mike Harrison, Open Eye and Bob & Eve.

The showstopper: a sculpture of ‘the box’ , filled with miniatures of every piece on show — an affordable way in, and one of the best works there.

INSIDE THE BOX is simply one of the best art exhibitions I’ve ever seen… and I can’t believe I’m in it!

An all too brief visit to the party last night (I’m a busy woman!) but was so happy to bump into some wonderful co- exhibitors and friends @neon_tony @orangeboy_art @mcollageart @artlife_dd @_jonwelsh_ @elizabetheade @housty_07 @nickwill123 @maypoleinnyapton and of course the sensational dynamic duo @lucy.delano and @artbytboy!

Have plenty more pics but my phone is full and my brain is fried with inspiration and art! A wonderful night with my beloved @robhamesartist and @blenheim27!

It’s your last chance to see it today @theregencytownhouse in Hove on Brunswick Square and free entry.

Just go. See the best art show this year. Prepare to be dazzled.

All set up and ready to go.
Months of preparation.
Many phone calls and pictures sent.
Hours and hours of glass bending and assembly work.

This collaboration with @artbytboy is so unique, remember where you saw it first.

If it's not made from glass, it's not a Neon Sign.

Inside the box is ready.
The Neon Room is ready.
The orange room is ready.
Are you?

The work that goes on behind the scenes of a show like this will never be seen and only a few understand and appreciate.
@artbytboy @lucy.delano well done. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

There are a few tickets left, literally a few.

Don't be the one who misses out.

Tickets are free, link in my bio.

Music, Djs, fantastic art and a glass of welcome fizz.

Come and say hello and enjoy this experience.

We are set!
It’s finally here ‘Inside the box’ will be the most exciting show #brighton has seen this year and it’s seen the biggest ticket uptake I’ve ever seen!
Join me on a journey through this historic house where you’ll find ‘the pavilion ‘ a #miesvanderrohe inspired glass house full of miniature pieces from artists around the globe, surrounded by full sized works of art. Downstairs in the front room you’ll find my new #neon collection in collaboration with @neon_tony which I’m incredibly proud of, finally we’ll be taking you through the world of @orangeboy_art where george will share his journey with art in a deeply personal collection of pieces.
Ticket uptake has been phenomenal so please bear with if I’m pillar to post but I’ll look forward to meeting as many people as possible. As always I couldn’t have created this without the tireless help and support from my co creator @lucy.delano 🙏🏼
We have a glass of fizz on arrival, a bar @mark_bamo_bamford on decs (Friday) and of course exceptional 🖼️ art

See you here from this evening onwards ❤️

Something rather different this week. Inside the Box opens at the Regency Town House in Hove on Thursday, and it is unlike anything I've taken part in before.

Trevor aka @artbytboy has built a mid-century modern pavilion at 1/12 scale, inspired by Mies van der Rohe, holding 27 miniature works by artists from around the world. Downstairs there's a neon room made with @neon_tony a DJ, drinks and a few surprises. The show also introduces @orangeboy_art I met George at a party recently, so I'm excited to see his work in person.

My piece is a 12 x 12" version on paper of "Crashing Waves Over Bracklesham Bay". The original, 92 x 92cm, will be there too and is for sale.

I'll be there Friday 4 September from around 5pm. Do come and find me.

📍 13 Brunswick Square, Hove, BN3 1EH
Thursday 6pm to 9.30pm
Friday 5pm to 9.30pm
Saturday 11.30am to 4.30pm.

Entry by advance ticket only.

With thanks to @lucy.delano, who has worked closely with TBOY on Inside the Box and supported the curation.
