PDX Pop Now! fest 2026–What an experience! Thank you so much to the lovely @pdxpopnow volunteers who organized the event, ran sound tech, helped us on and off stage, opened those heavy bank doors over and over, took rad pictures and video, painted our portraits, treated all of the artists like royalty, and created such an unforgettable experience for everyone.

And of course a huge thank you to all of the amazing artists we got to share the stage with. It’s such a privilege to be part of the Portland music scene, because it’s not just a “scene” — It’s a vibrant, supportive, and inclusive community full of genuinely lovely people. 🥰

THANK YOU SO MUCH @pdxpopnow for having us at your lovely and amazing festival! ❤️

It was so good to share the stage with so many great bands — and, most importantly, friends — like @highglowband, @asabovesound, @orangecatiqtest, @gab_pdx, and @lackadaisyyyy. 🫶

We encourage everyone to submit your music to the @pdxpopnow compilation next year and be part of this amazing community!

Also thank you @kbooradio for the interview with Jeremy and Jeremy JR!

$PDX Pop Now! Festival 2026 August 7-9 • Free & All Ages Orange Cat IQ Test is from outer space. Having realized that the best music scene in the entire Milky Way galaxy was in Portland, Oregon, the decision was then made to break ties with the Betelgeuse Association of Royal Fellows (BARF) record label and move to planet Earth. Naturally, the top brass at BARF did not take this decision kindly, and as such, the members of Orange Cat IQ Test are currently in hiding from various oppositional forces that aim to put an end to their glorious mission. What is that mission, you might ask? In fact, it is to bring very good rock music to your ears; right here, right now, forever. Orange Cat IQ Test is a four-sometimes-five-piece alternative rock band formed at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. OCIQT shows have ranged from tender, lamp-lit sets on the Great Lawn during cool autumn nights to loud, energetic telecaster noise in various basements or bars. Like its namesake, Orange Cat shares a single brain cell while performing for your viewing benefit. Orange Cat IQ Test plays SATURDAY August 8 at 6PM - Check them out along with all the other bands that weekend. 25+ Portland Artists • 27 Food Carts • 3 Bars • Vendors • Kids Activity Area • More Midtown Beer Garden 431 SW Harvey Milk St. Portland, OR Plenty of public transportation stops close by!
