Cannot express enough how fun @orbitsubmissionseries was over the weekend. Facing one of the guys I've looked up the last couple of years and studied for a while in @timmiecbjj It was a pleasure sharing the comp mats with you.
I also want to thank @samsgrapplingadventures for giving me one of the best leg shootouts from 50/50. You can definitely eat woj locks but I definitely don't recommend it.
Thank you @jiujitsuphotos for the awesome photos of the matches, you're awesome.
Thank you @james.nepp for coming down with me and @nkelne71 for hanging out and getting some food after the event.
A final thank you to the awesome team that backs me @misfitsgrapplingclub and my amazing coach @sawyerbuttweiler who's helped me become ther grappler I am.
Orbit was an awesome time overall. I hope I can get another opportunity to put on a show at their events.

First competition back since my ankle surgery.

It’s been a long road to recovery, and I’m still nowhere close to where I was before the injury. Just taking it day by day, striving to get better, feel better, and get back to where I know I can be.

Huge thank you to my teammates for continuing to push me, @orbitsubmissionseries for giving me the opportunity to compete, and @vitorcortegb for all the coaching and support throughout this process.

Still a long way to go, but it feels good to be back on the mats. 🤙🥋
