RESIDENT ARTICLE: For the Love of Latrinalia 🎨✍🏻

We are certain that most of you have written on a toilet wall before. But what you might not know is that the action has a name; Latrinalia.

Our brilliant Journalist Oriah Lee shares her own toilet wall confessions in her article all about this niche act. She breaks down the origins of the term, it’s research (yes, there’s research!) and how surprisingly poignant it can sometimes be.

Find your copy of Grunt and give this article a read. We hope it inspires you to share your thoughts, political arguments, or toilet puns on your local graffitied bathroom 🙂‍↕️

POV your director is an illiterate insomniac

We are in WORK mode atm, drawing up shot lists, locking in locations, set designing, you name it. We can’t wait to share more!

It’s kinda weird if you know our names but not our faces. So here are our faces!

Enjoy another introduction into who we are at Grunt HQ and what we do. Maybe you wanna spot us out of a crowd as a future interviewee, are curious who runs things!

(But we know this serves mainly those who are just feeling nosey - it’s all good 🙂‍↕️✨)

If you do ever run into us, absolutely say hi 💛

Directing on shoot days is like nothing else, having everyone work together to achieve the same goal of making a piece of art is just the best feeling!!

These clips are from my last project - I can’t wait to do it again for this film! 😍

RESIDENT SPOTLIGHT: Paige (Operations)

Did we mention we have a new resident?! More on that later… 🤫

Paige has the last article of issue 1 and in it, she talks through a night out with the grunt team! Would it have been organised without Paige wanting to take pictures of everyone, who’s to say 🤷🏼‍♀️

Here are some of the more flattering pictures that didn’t make the cut. The final page of the magazine is where you’ll find all the ones that are much more damning than these.
