Ever wonder where the name came from? 🎨

needed a poster for my first show. the first design wasn't it, so my brother @oriangreen redesigned it — inspired by a poster for the Clash. "tread lightly" stuck ever since.
shoutout to @albionmoonlightart, @dy9.design, and @midnight_milk — part of that very first show with me. hosted at @almostrealthings 🙏

As one tumultuous year ends and a new one begins, I want to say thank you to all the Austin hip-hop and r&b artists who put themselves out into the world in 2025. Escaping into the humanity and passion evidenced in your work allows a reprieve from the world. To see so many people in my hometown of Austin, Texas navigate the ebbs and flows of life and alchemize their experiences into music lends inspiration to tread my own way through these hurricanic times. In the vast lakes and rivers of imagination that flow through this city a few projects stood out to me. That isn’t to say that others weren’t appreciated, and I hope no ill will is felt by those not featured on this list, but these projects listed herein stood out to my personal preference for one reason or another, and I wanted to give kudos.

Here’s to another year of creating!

With everything going on in the world, performing my hype or self-indulgent music just feels inauthentic. So for the show on Saturday, I’m excited to perform my unreleased versus that make me nervous, but have a lot more to say.
Sneak peaking The Freedom Series too.
