Every room teaches you something and on my refining journey I noticed this very important thing

One conversation can introduce a new perspective. One event can expose you to a habit, skill, or idea that changes the way you think. That's why I value networking, not for collecting contacts, but for collecting wisdom.

Networking isn't about being everywhere. It's about being intentional. Position yourself in rooms that align with your vision, your values, and the person you're becoming.

Thank you to @theospot for inviting me to the @polished.to Beauty Expo and for helping prepare my skin for the @officialmrsuniversejamaica Every experience, every conversation, and every connection is another opportunity to refine.

Growth isn't built by staying where you're comfortable. It's built by placing yourself where your future already exists.

Refining Our Beauty Standards.

One thing this pageant journey has reminded me is that refinement extends far beyond mindset.

It reaches into the quiet places too. The routines we follow without questioning. The standards we've inherited. The beliefs we've accepted about what beauty should look like.

I've become more intentional about asking, "Does this support how I want to feel?" rather than "Is this what everyone else is doing?"

For me, healthy skin starts with understanding it. Hydration. Education. Expert guidance. Choosing care over trends.

Refinement isn't about chasing perfection.

It's about replacing unconscious habits with intentional ones that support the life, confidence, and presence you want to create.

Thank you, OSPAR by Orca Smart, for reminding me that the best beauty routines begin with understanding, not assumptions.

Monday, I had the incredible opportunity to speak at the 2026 Aerolase Skin Summit, and I’m still reflecting on how powerful the experience was.

To sit on that stage and share how Aerolase has transformed not only my practice, but the lives and confidence of my clients, meant everything to me. From sharing real before & afters to having honest conversations about how Aerolase has helped fill the gap in treating skin of colour safely and effectively, this was bigger than technology… it was about advocacy, education, access, and representation.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was connecting with the Aerolase community, hearing their stories and how I’ve impacted their decision to only purchase the device, but truly show up for melanin-rich skin safely and confidently. 🥲 Moments like that reminded me that I am here for a reason, and encouraged me to keep pushing this work forward.

I may have gone a little quiet because life has been life-ing, but moments like this remind me that the people are still watching, still listening, and still inspired. ✨

A huge thank you to my friend/client @msnoirediva for being such a good sport during our live onstage demo treatment. Your trust and support made the moment even more special.

I’m deeply grateful to @Aerolase and @Afor.Aesthetics for trusting me with a stage and creating space for these conversations.

This was a day of education, connection, impact, and community… and I’m honoured to be a part of the shift. ✨
