So I built a thing this season for @knottsscaryfarm in the new maze The Depths, I like to call her Octavia. I was one of three technicians building this giant octopus, and there was definitely a good week and a half that I was working on it pretty much all alone. It was hard, overwhelming, and exhausting work, but looking back I wouldn't trade this experience with all its ups and downs for anything.
It's crazy to go from Flat sheets of foam to a giant octopus. Sometimes it's hard to see our goals while and just looking at the raw materials and our own two hands... But just like my girl Octavia, there's a pattern and a plan and if you follow that plan you can accomplish more than you thought you could. .

Working as makeup designer, on the set of "Chompy and The Girls" directed by the imaginative visionary @zoundsohmy
Working on the beautiful and talented @christy_stjohn
This project was a lot of fun, a lot of Blood, Sweat, and yes quite a few tears. But I would not have traded this experience the world.
Btw guys we need to work together again soon .

Thank you to @renfaire_havasu for having us for the 10th year anniversary of this lovely faire! This was my (Mary Rose/Cricket) very first faire I performed at, so bringing my own group of scallywags with me just a year later has meant the world to me. Shout out to the best crew a captain could ask for 🫶

Lets show some love for @dieppe101 on the concertina, @carlythebug on the classical guitar, and @originalpartywizard on the lute guitar!!!
