Say hello to my "hai robo" .
A Prototype robot(kindof😌🌝) which waves at you're nearby .
Building these type of small circuits is therapeutic.
It was a fun project which took me about half an hour to build.
Making some tiny fun projects is also necessary while working on serious one's 😌.
.
Used Arduinonano for this prototype @arduino.cc
And I've used a CD motor instead of servos😅.
.
@originalstefrid i think you can make a freeform circuit of this 😌.

Steampunk thermometer part 3

The screen is mounted. I'm going to make a stand for the arduino and the receiver.

I cut a small piece of brass and solder a tube on it. This time it's very fast. A good polishing and it shines!

I had made a first inconclusive test with an arduino mini. It didn't work so I finally installed the arduino nano test model.
The connections are simple. 5v power supply and D8 for the receiver signal. The i2c display will be connected to A4 and A5. I added an LED on D13.

I spent some time making a tissue sheath for the screen connection. I preferred to have a flexible cable for this part.

As always the hardest part will be to make nice connections and soldering.

The beautiful merger of art, music, and engineering🎶
.
“Peter Vogel's work melds art and science in a unique way, and a glimpse at his early life history helps to explain how this came about. Born in Freiburg, Germany, to artist parents in 1937, Vogel was drawn to art from an early age but came to realise how difficult it would be so soon after the Second World War to make a living as an artist. So he decided to study physics and, after a period in industry developing medical tools and equipment, he spent 10 years with Hoffmann-La Roche working with cybernetic models in the fields of neurophysiology and psychology. Throughout this decade (1965-75), he continued to feel drawn to art and to pursue painting. He became particularly interested in how to represent movement and time in art and was influenced by the abstract art movements of tachism and action painting.”

THE MAKER’S BILL OF RIGHTS

•Meaningful and specific parts list shall be included.
•Cases shall be easy to open.
•Batteries shall be replaceable.
•Special tools are allowed only for darn good reasons.
•Profiting by selling expensive tools is wrong, and not making special tools available is even worse.
•Torx is OK; tamperproof is rarely OK.
•Components, not entire subassemblies, shall be replaceable.
•Consumables, like fuses and filters, shall be easy to access.
•Circuitboards shall be commented.
•Power from from USB is good; power from proprietary power adapters is bad.
•Standard connectors shall have pinouts defined.
•If it snaps shut, it shall snap open.
•Screws better than glues.
•Docs and drivers shall have permalinks and shall reside for all perpetuity at archive.org.
•Ease of repair shall be a design ideal, not an afterthought.
•Metric or Standard, not both.
•Schematics shall be included.
