Chrissy Amphlett’s lost recordings made headlines. But what her husband added after they were found is the part I wanted to know more about.

I asked the label.

New Release: Phil Jamieson - ‘10Charlie’

Phil Jamieson (frontman of legendary Australian rock outfit Grinspoon) returns with 10Charlie (out via Origin Recordings), a raw, electrifying, and deeply reflective collection that sees the iconic musician leaning into his sharpest songwriting and most intimate storytelling to date. Recorded with a lean, live-in-the-room energy, the album weaves together gritty alt-rock riffage, melodic hooks, and candid, autobiographical lyricism born from decades on the road and at the forefront of Australian rock history. Stripping away pretense without sacrificing a drop of his signature swagger, Jamieson captures the chaotic beauty of self-reckoning, transforming personal history into an anthemic, unflinching record that stands as a bold new chapter in his sprawling legacy.

The first ‘dance’ remix from Protomensch is out today. @lysten.now nailed it, picking up ‘Warum’ exactly where our version left off and building an epic journey around it. Huge thank you to Chris for this one - loving it!
