Had the absolute honor of premiering my film “Higher Education” @lashortsfest this past weekend🎬🍿

I am so overwhelmed by the support of the 76 beautiful humans who came out to celebrate with me😭 Getting to embrace families, filmmakers, teachers, classmates, coworkers, and friends who came together this weekend reminded me that the purpose of art is to connect. To reach audiences and communities and to be a part of something.

It takes a village and y’all had me in TEARS. Thank you to my friends. Thank you to my amazing crew. Thank you to my cast. I adore the shit out of all of you❤️

Screaming. Crying. Throwing up😭 WE DID IT! This last month and a half has been nonstop 3am editing sessions, sound mixing, producer calls, composer sessions, coloring notes, motion graphic and liscensing meetings, website design and festival press kits…but it’s here:) Sending off the final product today was absolutely insane. Stay tuned for private showings this upcoming month and for updates as we hit the festival circuits🫶 So incredibly grateful for the hours my post team put in to getting this movie MADE🙏 Okay now check out how cute all my supporting cast pallies look on camera🥹

BTS🎬 You guyssss😭 I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who came out this past month and supported me in my production company launch and filming of my very first movie. I could not have pulled this off without the community that showed up for me and said yes. Working with a team whose philosophy was never “we can’t do that” but rather “how can we make this work?” was absolutely inspiring. A massive thank you to our immensely talented DP @_egfilms who made this film come to life and truly carried this project with your dedication and crew.

Making “On the Run” was one WILD ride! I’m so grateful to everyone who made it happen and to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! Y’all are the true MVPs! I knew every line of dialogue yet the amazing cast still made me cry. And of course, none of this would have been possible without the incredible support from @mike.teevee @marvistaent and @tubi! Last but not least: extra huge thanks to my work wife @sarahdeisenberg and our fearless leader @traci.s.hays 🙌
