🧡 Ginetta Junior Scholarship 🚘🏁 As far back as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of driving a race car and, one day, hopefully racing one for real. Every minute spent behind the wheel of these incredible machines was everything I had imagined and more. The feeling is simply indescribable, and it has only made me more determined to chase that dream. 🏎️💨 Unfortunately, my scholarship journey ended earlier than I had hoped. While my driving performance was my strongest areas, I clearly have things to work on outside the car too — particularly media and fitness. Lessons learned, and definitely areas I’ll be working on.💪 I was incredibly lucky to experience three amazing cars, and what a privilege it was! 🖤 Team @mddmotorsport — huge thanks for an incredible car that felt like it was made for me, and to coach @benjaminjmckenna for his invaluable tips and guidance. 🔥 Team @orionsprracing — how lucky was I to drive again your amazing car! A massive shout-out to coach @jameshedley67, who pushed me like no other. You’re one seriously deadly coach. 😂 💨 Team @rabsportracing — thank you for another fantastic driving session and to coach @stevenwells36 for helping me push further and achieve my best overall lap time! To everyone who made this experience possible, thank you for sharing your knowledge, time and passion. I’ve learned a lot, made some great memories and, most importantly, confirmed just how much I love driving these cars. Would I do it all again? The driving part, a thousand times over! ❤️ The selection process, though, left me with a few questions and a different perspective on how these opportunities are decided. Sometimes, the experience teaches you just as much about the journey as it does about yourself. For now, I’ll keep learning, keep improving and keep chasing that dream — because this chapter may be over, but the passion definitely isn’t. 🏁 And if you’re thinking of taking on a similar scholarship, feel free to reach out. 🏁 Final Round The Marvellous, Brands Hatch GP🏁 Favourite circuit in the Uk❤️ Qualified with a time of 1min 35secs 748 milis. Was aiming for 1 .33, definitely in me but unfortunately didn’t happen on the day. 🏎️23 cars on the grid🏎️ Race 1 - P9 ➡️ P12 Confusion on my behalf with a safety car restart🤦‍♀️ overtaking under safety car leads to disqualification. Rightly so! It’s called a safety car for a reason 👍 I’m now completely educated on a safety car restart. However, was good fun working my way through the pack. Race 2 - P9 ➡️ P9 4th in AM class. Race 3 - I took a calculated very very difficult decision not to start. An accumulation of pros & cons. Massive rain cloud looming, likely we’d go out on slicks to endure a downpour. Im usually strong racing in wet conditions. This year I’ve had just 40 mins wet driving in this car, due to UK weather being abnormally glorious sunshine 🌞 Difficult but wise decision at the time, afterthoughts …..wished I’d just bloody gone out! 🤦‍♀️ This year was always a development year for me. Loved every minute of it. To finish the year racing at my favourite circuit…. Brand Hatch GP… absolutely fabulous 🙌 The team @orionsprracing are just incredible.
