A love-letter from Pablo to Cork today - with a lovely pic by @danilo.milk to help sum up why I love the city so much.

It's from last month's @funksmack party at Dali. No word of a lie, it was right up there as one of my favourite sets ever. Proper dancing from doors opening, and you can see how hot, funky and sweaty it got, with many in the crowd grabbing flyers for the Theo Parrish/Sound Signature show to use as makeshift fans!

They call it 'Funkadelic hedonism in a dark room' and I'm fully down for that!

I loved heading to Cork in my youth - preferring the focus on house, disco and funk versus the techno and trance that dominated Dublin. I met lifelong friends on dancefloors travelling to see the likes of Joe Claussell, De La Soul and Lemon Jelly, not to mention a very special night at Sweat in Sir Henry's mere weeks before it closed.

Last month's gig and this Saturday's show at The Savoy feel like full circle moments. It's gonna be very special indeed. If you're not coming, make the reason non-trivial!

Some buzz last night in Cork with the @notanotherdisco folk...

The lads will be opening the main room next week at the @dublindiscoalldayer, and I was privileged to get a 2.5 hour set off them last night in The Pav... really enjoyed playing all sorts and stretching the legs, everything from classic hip hop and funk to lashings of ye olde house and disco and even some proper acid madness.

Such love and attention to detail in the sound, decor, and visuals, and a proper set of dancers - energy was really high all night... Massive respect!

Massive love to our girl @orla_ooo for the hospitality. See yis for De Jazz in a few weeks time!

Great job to everyone who attended Coach Marks’s first Body Attack class at the new gym! It looked like everyone was working hard and having a blast—just my kind of workout.
