Senior Tribute | Isabella Illarde
A four-year varsity rower on the Saint Ignatius Women’s Team, Isabella Illarde has been a dedicated and steady presence since her freshman year. Throughout her time with the team, she contributed both on the water and behind the scenes, showing up with quiet consistency and a strong work ethic.

In her junior year, Isabella took on a pivotal role, partnering with her mom to support key fundraising efforts for the team. Their initiative not only helped strengthen the program but also built lasting momentum for the future.

Isabella brought her unique voice and perspective to the team culture, and her presence has been integral in shaping the team’s journey this season. She embodied the spirit of teamwork, always ready to lend a hand or share a word of encouragement.

Beyond her achievements as a rower—including earning a medal at the Grand Rapids Invitational—Isabella’s impact extended to teaching rowing to younger students during the summers, further contributing to the growth of the Saint Ignatius Chicago Rowing community.

We are confident that Isa will go on to accomplish great things in the future. She will attend Purdue University and pursue a degree in Biology.

Thank you for being an integral part of our team, Issa, and for making our time together so memorable.
Go Wolfpack!
