We would like to thank everyone who attended the Clear Aligner Basics Course with Dr. Stuart Burns last Saturday, and to @ormco for kindly sponsoring the event and providing key insight from their guest speakers.

The event was a great space for dentists to gather together and learn the fundamentals of Clear Aligner Therapy with Dr Stuart Burns, whilst building their overall confidence in clear aligner and fixed brace treatments 🦷

Due to the success of this event, we will be looking at new dates at the start of next year. If you’re interested in attending the next course - get in touch 🔗

🔺 Super difficult case. Agenesia of 12/22 + severe deep bite + cross bite + right class III.

🔹 Treatment plan: @spark_spain @sparkaligners @ormco_europe 24 month + anterior aesthetics from 3-3 with resin. CHECK THE SMILE

🔸❗️UPPER MESIALIZATION PROTOCOL❗️:
1. Arch development. Parabolic arch shape.
2. Procline + intrusion + prt of anteriors.
3. When transversal and align is finished, let’s mesialize
4. Secuencial mesialization every 4 aligners + don’t move more than 2 teet same time + from 0,5 to 1o of mesial root tip every aligner.
5. I DID SOMETHING IN THIS CASE❗️: asked to technicians a 50% reduction of speed. More aligners, higher control in occlusion and in root tip.

Don't miss this! 🎉 Dual Modality Mastery: Drs. Kat & Philip break down how they seamlessly integrate high-frequency remote monitoring across both fixed appliances (Ormco braces) and clear aligners (Spark). 👏
The smartSTL Game-Changer: They’ll share how using smartSTL with Spark aligners streamlines refinement scans and eliminates unnecessary intraoral scanning appointments.
Real Practice Expansion: They will reveal their exact operational blueprint for how DentalMonitoring enabled them to successfully launch and manage a distant satellite office without sacrificing clinical oversight or adding doctor chair time. A great example of why early orthodontic screening is so important! 😁

This patient presented with both an anterior and posterior crossbite, causing his lower jaw to shift forward.

By correcting the crossbites early, we were able to guide his bite into a more natural position and support healthy jaw development!

..take a look at the progress during orthodontic treatment with the @ormco 😍

Every archwire change and adjustment is carefully planned to guide the teeth step by step towards a healthier, more aligned smile.

One of the key parts of fixed-brace treatment is progressive archwire sequencing. As treatment moves forward, different wires can be used to gradually improve alignment, refine tooth positions and work towards the planned bite — with each stage building on the progress already achieved.

Orthodontic treatment is a journey, and transformations like this show just how much can change along the way. 🤍
