The Dramaturgy Memorabilia Auction has been EXTENDED! Now through December 29th, you have an extra week to bid on or buy dramaturgy memorabilia. New items continue to be added, so take a look at the auction website! Today, we are spotlighting three new items: 1. The rare, original “Dramaturg, eh?” shirt from the 2010 BANFF LMDA Conference (donated by avid dramaturgical t-shirt collector Cindy Sorelle). A 2023 replica and shirts from the 2003 and 2005 LMDA conferences are also available. 2. Bid on a dramaturgical learning experience! Meet Kristin Leahy at the Boston Athenaeum for a walk around the historic space and a conversation about the field. You’ll leave the outing with an abundance of knowledge and having encountered many examples of historical memorabilia along the way. 3. Shelley Orr and D.J. Hopkins’ box includes SEVEN artistic and scholarly items! A signed copy of Naomi Iizuka’s play SKIN; a draft of Chuck Mee’s plays The Trojan Women: A Love Story and Big Love: or the Wedding of the Millennium, and an article on Mee’s work by Hopkins and Orr; a copy of the Suzan-Lori Parks’ play Venus; a mask from Punchdrunk Theatre’s Sleep No More; a signed paperback copy of Sleep No More and the Discourses of Shakespeare Performance by D.J. Hopkins; and a signed paperback copy of Performance and the City, edited by D.J. Hopkins, Shelley Orr, and Kim Solga. The auction is open from November 25 to December 29th. Your contributions help support the future of LMDA and dramaturgy. If you would like to support LMDA, you can also donate directly through the auction website! LINK IN BIO! . For my Plan B Project (something similar to a thesis), I translated a musical from Japanese to English as a translator and a dramaturg. (Please check photos ⑤-⑦ for more details about this project) I would like to thank everyone who supported me in this project. I am so grateful that I was able to have two readings. I would like to thank these amazing actors, who made time for me in their busy schedule, understood the script well in a short time, and gave me extremely helpful feedback. Also, I would like to thank all of my cohort, who came to support me for my readings. I would like to thank all of my friends who supported me in many ways! And last but not least, I would like to thank my advisor, Shelley, for supporting me all the time! Thank you for everything! ❤️ ~•~•~•~•~•~•~ Reading #1 Actors: @justin_brill_prof, @audreydeubig, and Kay :De Reading #2 Actors: @milomeeofficial, @jordan.e.davenport, @charlotte.bridant A Reader of Stage Direction: Robyn Wilkinson ~•~•~•~•~•~•~ 修士論文に当たるプロジェクトで、私はミュージカルの日英翻訳をしました。

Buddy the dog made a guest appearance at our final company meet and greet of the season today for SWEAT. Highlights included presentations by our director, Sam Woodhouse, dramaturges Shelley Orr and Kimberly King, and by our design team Elisa Benzoni (costumes), Anne E. McMills (lighting), Matthew Lescault-Wood (sound), Sam Rojales (projections), and set design by John Iacovelli (presented by Sam Rojales). We learned so much about the world that Lynn Nottage discovered when she researched this play in Reading, Pennsylvania, and we can't wait to share it with you...
