pilates came into my life at a time when i needed something that could make everything else feel quiet for a little while.

there’s something about focusing on your breath, controlling every movement, and staying connected to your body that doesn’t leave much room for everything else going on in your head.

somewhere along the way, it became less about the workout and more about having a moment to breathe, be present, and feel like myself again.

movement doesn’t have to fix everything to make a difference. 🤍

and if you’ve been wanting to try pilates but need something a little more personal — a workout that meets you where you are, without the pressure of a crowded studio — i’m opening up a couple more spots for private 1:1 clients starting on 10/13. in person or virtual.

your pace. your space. movement designed for you.

dm me if you want to learn more 🤍

What if what you thought you wanted was not what you were expecting? Or worse, not what you actually needed?

Because whatever you are pushing for may not actually be what you need.

What is meant for you will come with ease. What is meant for you will float in your life as easily as clouds across the sky. And just as the world brings you what you can learn, grow and expand into - this world creates space for newness.

Trust the timing of your life.
Trust the way your body feels when it’s met with certain situations, when it’s met with different people.

I often reflect on how something made me feel in my body, not so much an analytical question to be thought of, but a question to be 𝓯𝓮𝓵𝓽

I say in class often ~ if feeling is first, where would you go? if feeling is first where would your body take you?

✨ FULL CORE SERIES ✨

A complete core series for lower and upper abdominals. Connecting to the core begins with alignment, alignment with your breath and the physical body. When we focus on breath before we move, we bring the awareness and attention to the body before integrating any movement.

Take your time in this series, doing it as many times as you feel.

Few notes:

✨ belly button stays glued to the mat
✨ core engagement begins before the exercise, knitting the ribs in ‘hugging’ spine
✨ upper body stays lifted, shoulders back and down

✨MONDAY MANTRA✨

The momentum in the little things, steps forward that feel small, they build and eventually all those ‘small’ steps are the leaps we felt were too tough to make.

What little steps forward are you making this week?

NEW YEAR MEDITATION ✨🤍

come back to this container as a way to ground, to settle in the calm of the body and build from the foundation of stillness.

‘I trust in the pace of my unfolding’
‘I choose ease over urgency’

The holidays can be stressful, use this as a way to regulate and release any stress building in the body.

Trust yourself, you got this 🤍 just keep breathing.

By focusing on the breath and using breathwork as a tool, we influence the nervous system directly activating the parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) system, calming the fight-or-flight response through slow, deep breaths.

These slow, deep breaths signal safety to the body and your nervous system - lowering heart rate, reducing stress hormones, and improving Heart Rate Variability (HRV). By creating a regular practice you continue to promote resilience, mental clarity, and bringing the body back to balance.

Sometimes we have to get so sick of our own sh*t that the only option left is to finally get out of our own way. And while it can feel sticky to be in that place, it’s also a moment of potent energy… one where you get to choose who you become next. You are in control - of the next thought, the next action, and the next version of you. 🤍🙏🏻⚡️

We’re all soo good at convincing ourselves to stay in our comfort zone — even when it’s actually the least comfortable place to be. I don’t believe in a long list of wellness habits. Just a few non-negotiables you return to every day. Mine: movement, meditation, and JournalSpeak. Real consistency starts small. And discipline is how you unstick your life.
