Already more than 2 weeks ago…
One of the highlights in my race calender since three years!
@triathlonbasel 🩷🩵
My hometown race with the coolest bike course I know 🚴‍♂️
For the first time, I wasn’t able to race the olympic distance in the morning and the sprint in the afternoon…
The torn muscle in my back was getting better, but still not 💯
But I‘m over the moon, that I was able to race and share the podium with the zurich duo😎😉
Another medal in Basel 🙌
🥇🥇🥈🥈🥉
Thank you to the whole team around that race! This is a truly special one!🤩

Ascona to Brissago 🩷
What startet with a fun question "How far is it?", ended up bringing us so much joy🧜‍♀️🥰

P2 @triathlonbasel 🥈

The goal for this race was: rebuild some confidence🌈. And this definitely felt like a step in the right direction. Thank you to my sportpsychologist @deroche_mental 🙏

The swim was probably the highlight. First woman out of the water with a 30-second gap, and I even managed to catch a few of the leading men who had started 1 minute ahead of us.

T1 was a bit of a mess 😅 I completely lost focus and initially ran the wrong way. I’d been so happy to see so many friends at check-in 🫶 that I somehow forgot to actually think through my transition.

The bike was fun and, considering how completely unspecific my preparation was, actually pretty decent. My original A-race would have been about 11 times longer, so this was definitely a different kind of effort.

And then the run… there just wasn’t much left. 🥵Normally, this is a pace I can hold for close to 21 km. With all the medical checks and performance testing during race week, I can put it into perspective.

Still, I led the race for almost 50 minutes, and of course it hurts when you know the pace you’d normally run quite comfortably just isn’t there on the day.

But that’s sport. It counts on race day.

Huge thank you to everyone out on the course. So many familiar faces, so much cheering and so much positive energy. 💗

Huge congrats to @svenaltermatt ❤️ on P2 as well. It’s such a privilege to be able to do all of this together with you. 💘

New race – new chance 🌈💫
After the last race, I had several medical checks and I’m ready to race tomorrow.
The biggest challenge will be to let go of the last race experience and give myself a new chance.
In the end, I decided not to do a double start. Just to take care of my body and mind, because triathlon demands a lot and the long-term perspective is way more important🙏.
I wish all the Bebbis 😋 good luck at our home race. Let’s have fun.🥳

“See you at the Schilthorn.”
That’s what I said to my coach shortly before the start — and I truly believed it.
Unfortunately, I had to pull out of the race at Grosse Scheidegg.
A long-distance race is very complex, and right now there’s nothing we can point to and say: that was definitely the cause.🤷🏻‍♀️
Maybe I had a mild infection that I wouldn’t have noticed in everyday life, but that only showed up under such a high physical load. Heat may also have played a role. My measurements didn’t clearly show overheating, but some of my symptoms would fit. Another possibility is that weeks of constant heat exposure made my body more sensitive.🏜️
And maybe we’ll never know for sure what caused it.
But the measurements after I stopped clearly show that my body was no longer coping well and that pulling out of the race was the right decision.
I’m proud of myself for listening to my body.
Incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me on this adventure. 🫶💓
A huge thank you to my love @svenaltermatt who supported my sooo much in all the trainings, preparing my bikes (yes, plural 😅), strategy and also on day X for beeing there 💘❤️ especially after my DNF❤️.
The finish line at the Schilthorn still fascinates me, and I will definitely be back.💫

I’ve started to realise that I rarely remember every shot I’ve hit.

I remember the places. The conversations. The people. The feeling a week leaves behind 🇮🇪⛳

This week’s chapter brought us to Malahide for the Women’s Irish Challenge @malahide_golfclub @womensirishchallenge where Ireland welcomed us with warm sunshine and a course transformed by an unusually dry summer. The golden fairways gave it a character all of its own, and it was a beautiful place to spend the week 🌼

Maybe that’s the real gift this sport has given me. Not just the opportunity to compete, but the chance to discover little corners of the world I may never have found otherwise. This week, that gift came in the form of a wonderful host family who welcomed me with open arms and reminded me that home can sometimes be found in the most unexpected places ✨

A heartfelt thank you to @letaccess, @golfirelandofficial @sportireland @flogasireland the club, the members, the volunteers and everyone behind the scenes for making this event so special.

To my sponsors, partners, family, friends and team, thank you for believing in a dream that asks me to keep chasing the horizon 💛

Until the next chapter.

With love,
Clara

Last weekend was one for the books.

17 moxxis runners on the start line at @davosxtrails and the first event of the moxxis mobile alongside @angerersport.

The trails did not make it easy. Watching our runners push through every kilometer, still smiling, still having fun, crossing that finish line safely and achieving something some of them could not have imagined a year ago, is what all of this is about.

Congratulations to all of you. That is moxie. 🩷

Big news about running and our XTrails leader @calvintvz is coming very soon.

🎥 Big thank you to @dancirics for capturing all of these amazing moments.

NEW BLOG: «Warum?»

Three weeks of altitude training in the Engadin🌄. Time to do what I love in one of my favourite places in the 🌎.
But it didn’t all go as planned. 🤧
