No place like home!! After a quick two weeks in the states, we returned home to keep doing what we love the most. Yesterday we went 3/5 on the Blues, 1/1 on striped, 3/3 on sails and a nice Mahi. Great day overall

A lot of my non fishing friends ask me why we go so much to Costa Rica. About 8 years ago we took out kids on spring break to fish in Los Suenos with Costa Rica Dreams. It was there that we met two special people that made us want to keep returning. Capt. Rudy Arguedas and Mate Esteban Gallo not only took us out fishing but they introduced us to their country, family and friends. A lot of us come for the fishing but the majority of us stay for the people. Much love to the Costa Rican people for taking us in as family. If you can come and visit, do it!! You will never regret it.

Today we went 8/12 on the sails, 0/1 on the blues and some nice tuna. On the first pic we had a sail hit just as I was taking the picture.

We took a break from Los Suenos and came north to Guanacaste for a few days. We tried to get the Black Marlin to bite but had no luck. We ended up 2/3 on the Blues in the afternoon and only fished 2 hours.

On Wednesday through the never ending rain we managed to go 2/2 on the Blues and @delgadojorgearmando landed his first Blue Marlin. The third video is one I released. We managed to catch one more tuna that was about 70 lbs.

The Blue Marlin weren’t switching over in the morning so we went grocery shopping. These guys were hungry. Doing what we love to do.

Annual backcountry trip on our public game lands coming to an end. We worked really hard to bring an elk home with us but it just didn’t happen. Had a blast trying though and the season is young... Now for some trout fishing!
