✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Haley Osborne✨

Major: Fitness & Sports Management

Plans after graduation: I want to play soccer as long as possible and then I hope to continue working in athletics and eventually become an athletic director. I want to stay involved in the sports world and help create the kind of opportunities and experiences that made such an impact on me.

Favorite memory: It’s hard to pick just one, but some of my favorite memories are the moments with my teammates off the field—the bus rides, locker room laughs, and all the little moments that I know I’ll miss someday.

What is your proudest soccer accomplishment?: Coming back to soccer and proving to myself that I could do it again. There were moments when I wasn’t sure what my future in soccer would look like, so being able to find my way back, compete at the collegiate level, and continue chasing the dream I’ve had since I was little is something I’m really proud of.

What will you miss most about playing soccer?: I’ll miss the feeling of being part of something bigger than myself. There’s nothing quite like stepping onto the field with your teammates, fighting for the same goal, and knowing you have people beside you every step of the way. I’ll miss the competition, the adrenaline, and the people who made the hard days worth it.

What is one piece of advice you would give to younger players?: Don’t rush through it. Enjoy the little moments, the locker room laughs, the long bus rides, the hard practices, and even the days when things don’t go your way. You won’t realize how special it all is until you’re looking back on it. And most importantly, don’t let one bad game, one coach, one injury, or one difficult season make you forget why you fell in love with the game in the first place.
