Introducing our guest Greek Club djs for Tanner 07.09. 💙 🌀Sven Bolo is here to serve you all the spicy meatballs that he picked up during his year in Greece. From Monemvasia to Kalabaka, Paros to Volos, Glyfada to Penteli, only the finest ingredients have been picked up in order to be served to you on a steaming hot plate of Hellenic goodness. Best served with a ice cold glass of Assyrtiko. 🌀If Veronique was a DJ is a fresh face in the Helsinki DJ scene, infusing it with her Mediterranean charm and Nordic wit. Last summer, the seed of a book was collectively planted, and after months of work, “Spiritual Cooking & Recipies in Practice” is finally out! 🍝🥘📚Up your cooking and storytelling game and support the activities of the Leštnice collective by purchasing a copy. It is a limited edition of 100! You can reserve your copy by emailing librarians@lestnice.org 🎤📚🥘Or grab a copy this Saturday 04.05 at our book release banquet party in Kafkarna (Prague). 📖Stretching the concept of a cookbook, this publication not only assembles recipes suited for communal feasts but is a journey through the stories told while sitting together at the table. Interweaving the playful spirit of our kitchen with experimental approaches to foraging, sonic cooking and building in its broadest sense, this patchwork of diverse contributions originated within the ‘Summer School 2023’ residency around Leštnice, in South Bohemia. Since the Velvet Revolution, the once-abandoned village of Maříž has been re-generated as an intercultural hub where people and disciplines can meet and intersect, creating a nurturing social fabric. Over the years, we came to understand food as the core of this community, its cultural heritage and as a practice of re-inhabiting. ‘Spiritual Cooking and Recipes in Practice’ invites you to design and experiment with infrastructures to accommodate the collective experience of cooking and eating together, providing a space for stories to be shared. for everything that it was it cannot be again
