Another year around the sun with you, and I couldn’t be more excited to see what 2026 brings us. 💫 Even though we somehow didn’t take that many photos together, we filled this year with sooooo many memories. 🤍 We went on unforgettable trips to the US, Austria, Norway, South Tyrol, and Spain. 🖤 You held my hand on countless flights, comforted me on the days I doubted myself, and supported every decision I made, cheering me on every step of the way. 🤍 We adopted our little baby, Moka. 🖤 We went to two weddings (which is probably just the beginning of wedding season). 🤍 We celebrated four years together. 🖤 And we bought and renovated our very first apartment. What a whirlwind of a year and I am so grateful we are in it together.

not to be dramatic or anything (although that’d be kinda on brand)…
but every single day that passes, we are getting closer to be knock-knock-knocking on heaven’s door. 🚪 you might think that’s a little emo.
or you might be like: “damn. that actually puts a lot of sh*t into perspective.” for me, it’s a reminder that there’s no delaying when it comes to happiness.
no delaying when it comes to squeezing life.
to living it in a way that makes sense for ME, in a way that feels whole, and integrates the entirety of who I am. In a way that doesn’t delay feeling worthy, or grateful, or lucky, or free. In a way that keeps me in awe, curious, excited. happiness isn’t something you schedule for later. it’s not a reward or a milestone.
you don’t earn it by overachieving or finally becoming a “better” version of yourself.
it’s here. now.
in how you choose to live.
in how fully you let yourself feel grateful, worthy, connected, free. without waiting. so if you’re seeing this today, hope you take it as a sign not to wait either.
not to waste another minute overthinking it. whatever ‘it’ may be for you. that thing that keeps you stuck away from joy, in spiral mode. not to stay in loops that drain you.
not to keep quiet when your heart wants to say more.
not to brush off what lights you up. if there’s something in your life right now that doesn’t feel aligned,
you owe it to yourself to either shift it or run (not walk) in the opposite direction. there’s no time to waste in places, people, jobs, cities or routines that feel lukewarm. see more of the world.
have more conversations. the kind that give you goosebumps. the kind that make you question things.
the kind that make you go home thinking:
“life is so weird, and fleeting, and beautiful
and i can’t believe i get to be here for it.” because when you strip back all the noise, all the fluff, all the layers of complexities we love to throw into our lives, what’s left is usually what matters most. from that place, it’s a little easier to stay present. to stay open. to stay awake to the gift of it all. and I guess what I’m try to say is that life’s too short not to notice that more often 💭

sometimes you might lose each other in the hustle and bustle of daily life, feeling disconnected. but when everything quietens down, the world stops spinning so rapidly for a moment, that’s when you truly know what you’ve got. ❤️‍🔥 . . . #travel #travelblogger #travelphotography #photography
