PSM is proud to congratulate Oscar Adams on extending his future with the Gold Coast SUNS until the end of the 2028 AFL season.

The talented young key defender has signed a two-year contract extension, reaffirming his commitment to the SUNS after an impressive start to his AFL career.

Originally from South Australia, Adams joined the Gold Coast via the 2025 Mid-Season Rookie Draft and has quickly established himself as an exciting young prospect. Standing at 197cm, his versatility and composure have seen him play multiple roles across the backline, making 20 AFL appearances in just over a season.

This extension is a well-deserved reward for his commitment and performances. Congratulations, Oscar and the Adams family.

Oscar Adams’ journey to a regular spot in the AFL has been a lengthy one, but not as long as his mother’s drive to take him to junior footy in South Australia.

“Mt Gambier is five hours from Adelaide, so we’d drive up and play on the weekends. In under-16s mum would take me, so she had a huge commitment. It’s a 10-hour round trip.” - @oscragain

A huge shoutout to Oscar’s mum and all the parents out there who helped make it possible for the boys to live out their dreams of playing in the AFL ❤️
