Twaalf jaar na hun uiteenvallen vonden de leden elkaar terug. Tussen onbekende instrumenten en vertrouwde gevoelens begonnen ze opnieuw te spelen. Red Shades is bringing out their debut album โ€˜Showdownโ€™ on FEBRUARY 28. YES, both the album and. song on the album share the same name. To celebrate the release, they are organizing an event at @garagenoord w/ @tizizizu, @cdr_103, @okko.band, @4evrbuffld, @stnvndijk and โ€˜ninoโ€™ on FEBRUARY 27! SOโ€ฆ โ€ข FEB 27: ALBUM RELEASE EVENT (20.30 - 02.00) โ€ข FEB 28: 00:00 official release debut album โ€˜SHOWDOWNโ€™ โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” TRACKLIST: SHOWDOWN 1. SHOWDOWN โ€” (8.00) โ€˜Showdownโ€™ challenges the very fabric of contemporary music with its transcendent blend of trance, hip-hop, and avant-garde influences like IDM and shoegaze. Inspired by the likes of James Ferraro, Clams Casino and My Bloody Valentine. The result of the symbiotic collaboration between academically schooled and virtuosic producers, sound-artists and audio engineers from โ€˜Hogeschool van de Kunsten Utrechtโ€™, โ€˜Showdownโ€™ stands as a testament to the boundless possibilities of audio artistry. The album is a raw and personal account of the challenges, vices, spiritual growth and love experienced throughout a young adultโ€™s life. It is a story of overcoming hardship. The narrative is intimate and relatable, meant to resonate with those who strive to make a meaningful impact in the world. โ€” All music written, produced, recorded and mixed by Red Shades Mastered by @thijn_moons_ Art by @osh____in Special thanks to the visual artist and content creator @__gabbo THANKS TO THE RED SHADES FAMILY: GABRIEL VAN DE SLUIS ROMA VAN ORSOUW KRIS MCDONALD JELMER GUNNINK NINO VAN ORSOUW DIRK KABEL
