In this deeply personal conversation with Rabbi Vigler, a brave IDF soldier recounts the moment that stays with him every single day. He describes the harrowing reality of the combat in Gaza, witnessing his deputy battalion commander being shot and the heavy emotional toll that follows such a loss.
At Belev Echad, we know that physical rehabilitation is only half the battle. Our “One Heart” family is here to help our wounded soldiers in Israel process the trauma of what they saw on the battlefield. We are honored to be the sanctuary where these heroes can find the peace and the brotherhood they need to carry on the legacy of those who fell beside them.

A HUGE Miracle In Gaza!

What does it mean to be a hero in Israel? It means facing the unthinkable with courage and living to tell the story. This IDF soldier recounts a harrowing experience from the October 7th attacks, showing how he and his comrades were saved against all odds when terrorists bypassed their hidden position. Despite the chaos and loss surrounding them, his survival stands as a powerful reminder of the resilience of our Gaza war veterans.
At Belev Echad, our mission is to support these wounded soldiers as they transition from the battlefield back to civilian life. Through specialized medical care and a community that feels like family, we help our heroes turn their survival into a thriving future. Join us in honoring the bravery of our IDF soldiers and ensuring they have the resources they need for long-term restoration. Together, we can show the world the strength of our “One Heart” and our unwavering support for the defenders of Israel.
