Sunday calls for a film, popcorn and good music. So here’s our tip.

Mother Mary, the A24 film by David Lowery, is streaming now on OSN+ in the UAE. Anne Hathaway plays a pop icon planning her comeback after an onstage accident. Three days before the show, she runs to Sam, played by Michaela Coel, the designer who built her image and never got the credit.

And the music? Songs co-written by Charli xcx, one of the most powerful female voices in music today, with Jack Antonoff and FKA twigs, all sung by Hathaway herself.

Why it matters to every DJane: behind every persona there is a team of women. Stylists, designers, producers, managers. The people who shape your sound and your image deserve their name on it. And your stage identity is built, so make sure it still feels like you.

Now tell us: who shaped YOUR sound? Tag her in the comments and give her the credit.

Rated 18+.

Meena Bazaar had a pulse long before the rest of Dubai caught up, and in this episode of @ditchthesilver, our @ti22films team followed @arva.ahmed as she headed to Bur Dubai to find out how much of that pulse still remains.

Food trends don't get born here, they arrive a few months late. What Meena Bazaar does have are restaurants from the 70s and 80s that have simply never left, and Arva sets out to understand how they've held onto their story, their space and their people, in a city that's constantly changing.

Catch this episode of Ditch The Silver exclusively on @osnplus 🎬
