🖤 BLOOD OF YOUR EMPIRE 🖤
Coffee Stout | @ossettbrewery

Intense espresso, salted caramel and dark roasted malt in a decadent 7% Nitro Stout.

Expect waves of rich coffee, sweet caramel and a subtle hit of salt, all wrapped up in a velvety-smooth body beneath that beautiful cascading nitro head. Rich, roasty and ridiculously drinkable… a true liquid tribute to PRESIDENT.

Coffee. Caramel. Pure stout indulgence.

Enjoyed a hoppy beer over the stove, from the good people at @ossettbrewery. A local favourite of mine back home in WY! 🍺

if you had told me that a band fronted by an anonymous mask individual (cough, Charlie Simpson) and they were collaborating with the awesome ossett brewery ( and also convincing them to not feature the word rat in the name) I would say you were mad. for it to be a supermarket beer is even crazier.

On the pour there is a slight froth and on the nose its a very sweet rich aroma that certainly packs a lot of character.

for a nitro porter its actually quite flat which is a bit surprising. the taste more than makes up for it.There's a brownie ice cream about this beer like a frappe from Costa. I had a third of this and I would say that's a good amount to judge this.
if you see it in morrisons its currently on a multi buy, so grab it I would say share it as its quite strong on the palette.

Trying Ossett Brewery’s range! 🍻

On our recent trip to York, we paid a visit to @hopyork to try out @ossettbrewery’s large range of ales!

The place itself is great - lots of beers pouring, friendly staff and the pizza is a must try. Ossett have done an amazing job producing such a diverse range of ales, it’s a shame we couldn’t get through them all!

Huge thank you to Grace @ Ossett for helping us out, and the staff at the Hop for being so accommodating.

Which brewery should we try out next? Let us know! 💬

It's Rat Time.
The Lab Rat, Peaches and Cream Sour, from @ossettbrewery coming in at 4.5% vol.
Sniff test - extremely peachy peaches, under the layers of peach there is some barley notes.
Gulp test - zesty, citrus, peach sour, peach cobbler, creamy smooth mouth feel.
This works and works well, it shouldn't really make sense but it does.
As soon as you crack the can, you get an orchestra of aroma hit your very being.
Then as you take your first sip, you are awakened to a plethora of flavours that build with every return to the glass.
You can tell that a lot of thought and experimentation has gone into this, to produce one amazing experience.
Well done.
Cheers 🍻
