My nephew @decent_dodd got married today. Proud Uncle. My kids Ossie and Scout had a blast!

We hiked to God’s Thumb today on the Oregon Coast - just a bit north of Lincoln City. Only 4.2 miles but it had some incline to it. The rain on the way back made the whole thing interesting. After we finished, we had a burger @101.burger (which was outstanding) and then Ossie visited @ossiessurfshop, and we stocked up on merch. Quick stopped Depot Bay because I just love that place. Then we had a beautiful Oregon rain covered drive to my Mom’s place. Now we are headed to Portland to pick up Scout for my nephew’s wedding tomorrow!.

Jesus saved my life.

on a rainy night in the fall, He looked at my doubt, my fear, my anger, and my hatred, but chose to love me still. it was Him who lifted me out of the dark place i’d fallen into, back into the life and the light He provides.

He had no clear reason to redeem my soul, nor the 234 that we heard audibly declared this past month.

yet still, He died for us, He loves us,

and He’ll do it again.

thanks to RAS for the summer of a lifetime, allowing me be the smallest part in the biggest stories.
