Huge thanks to Gotham FC for offering this fantastic clinic for our Westchester AYSO Area 3T players! The weather couldn’t have been better for a fall soccer clinic. Croton AYSO Region 455 was proud to host Mount Pleasant, Ossining, Pleasantville, and Rivertowns on our new turf field. Hope to do it again in spring!

When you coincidentally bump into your neighboring #AYSO RC, right after you were texting them 5 minutes earlier, at the local sporting goods store! The life of the Regional Commissioner getting things done post-Saturday practices 💪

(Using all the filters after a morning of slogging through the fields 😆)

This is a proud coach post from your Croton RC who is a 12U coach. Our 12UG Blaze team 🔥is a hybrid of @ossining_ayso & @crotonayso455 players. Sometimes when you don’t have the numbers in your favor, you make it work. Sometimes we wear #Ossining maroon, sometimes #CrotononHudson orange. We are so fortunate to have a region next door who we can partner with to make things work so #everyoneplays.

We had our first game of the spring on Sunday, and only one practice the day before, and walked away with a solid Win! These girls have really showed up for each other: positioning themselves, communicating on field, and being there for each other. We’re so proud of them and the work they do together.

The spring season brings difficulties — some kids are in more than one sports (our team has gymnasts, dancers, and musicians) who have spring competitions and performances. This past Sunday we only had 9 players for 9v9, and all nine of them played the entire game. They paced themselves so well! We couldn’t be prouder of how they’ve matured into this game.

Our combined region team, 12UG Blaze, with the win today, 3-0! It’s not the first time @crotonayso455 & @ossining_ayso have partnered for a blended team — making sure #EveryonePlays. This group of girls has some great talent and even better attitude! Benefits of having great Hudson River AYSO neighbors! Thanks Croton Coach Paul & Ossining Coach Vidal!!! ⚽️⚽️⚽️🙌🙌🙌
