POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today the LCC staff took some time together after a busy summer to reconnect, laugh and get revved up for tomorrow night’s Linwood Midweek launch! We are blessed to serve the Linwood Covenant family together, each with our own gifts!

This team can’t wait to start up a new year of ministry together - and hope you’ll come join in the fun! See you tomorrow night!

Ash Wednesday set us off on a reflective Lent journey, with the ashes reminding us of our mortality and our dependence on the salvation that arrives with Easter.

The prayer from today’s devotional encourages us to turn to God when that mortality - and our humanity - have us flailing.

“Jesus, help me trust your word more than my own discouragement. Amen.”

(Don’t forget to pick up your family’s copy to start your own
Lenten reflection!)

The online only Old Testament course offered by Pastor Dave will begin TONIGHT at 6:30.

This class will be enjoyed from the comfort of a Google Meet room, but include the same awesome content that was covered during the in-person course last year during Midweek. Pastor Dave will address the creation story, violence in the New Testament, the lead up to Jesus’ arrival and more in the form of teaching, videos and supplemental content.

The only requirements are the desire to go deeper into the Word and a Google email address! Email Pastor Dave at dave@linwoodcovenant.org ASAP to get the link and material for tonight’s class!

Such a fun and unexpected end to the 2024 DAMSL softball tournament! As the #5 seed we didn’t expect much but upset both the #1 & #2 seeds yesterday and won the championship today!!
It was a great year and we’re already looking forward to next!!

A little behind-the-scenes look at what LCC leadership looks like… this weekend many of the lead team and ministry leaders took part in a retreat to discuss the future year in LCC ministry - what’s working, what’s not and where we’re going! So thankful for their effort and dedication to ensure LCC is ever continuing the path of seeking God, journeying as family and serving others.

Don’t forget to join us tomorrow for worship at 9:30 per usual! We’ll see you there!
