One Tough Cookie join the bill as secret guests for our November edition of Starlane Presents. 🖤 Meti, Jem & Juice have been friends since childhood, with their shared love of music eventually bringing them together behind the decks as One Tough Cookie. The trio are part of Kumquat, the collective, promoter and label that has spent the past decade building one of the strongest reputations on the French electronic music scene. Originally launched in Paris, Kumquat has also been helping put Marseille on the international map over the past four years. Behind the decks, One Tough Cookie bring a sound spanning house, tech house and minimal. They join Olga Korol and Tommy Pickles for 12 hours at Starlane. Il y a 10 ans, KUMQUAT faisait ses premiers pas dans les clubs parisiens, les friches de Seine-Saint-Denis et plus tard, les hangars Babcock de la Courneuve. Des dizaines de lieux, des centaines de nuits, des milliers de rencontres, des coups de cœur, des galères… qui ont fait ce que nous sommes aujourd’hui. Il était évident pour nous de revenir aux sources pour célébrer ces dix années avec celles et ceux qui étaient là au début et celles et ceux qui nous ont rejoints en chemin. Le 26 septembre, on revient pour 17h de fête non-stop, un format After/All Day Long avec des copains et des copines parisien.ne.s et marseillais.e.s. Paris, on rentre à la maison. 🧡 ~ KUMQUAT is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Paris! Ten years ago, KUMQUAT took its first steps in Parisian clubs, the abandoned lots of Seine-Saint-Denis, and later, the Babcock warehouses in La Courneuve. Dozens of venues, hundreds of nights, thousands of encounters, favorite moments, and tough times… all of which have shaped who we are today. It was only natural for us to return to our roots to celebrate these ten years with those who were there at the beginning and those who have joined us along the way. On September 26, we’re back for 17 hours of non-stop partying—an “After/All Day Long” event with friends from Paris and Marseille. Ce chapitre 3 du Château de Ma Mère était coquin 😮‍💨 Visiblement on était tous.tes content.e.s de se retrouver autour de cette vieille bastide, notre terrain de jeu de l’été aux allures de festival. From Marseille to Amsterdam. A few weeks ago we shared a stage with Kumquat in the south of France. Last Saturday we invited them to our house. Cap, PARAMIDA and One Tough Cookie in the main room. Unsilenced held down the RESTROOM. A collab to remember.
