The perfect Alibi! Happy 13th anniversary to my perfect alibi! They say a good partner supports your dreams, but a great partner helps you plan the heist. For 13 years, you’ve been my ride-or-die, my secret keeper, and my favorite person to get into trouble with. I wouldn’t want to navigate this wild life with anyone else by my side. Here’s to 13 more years of laughter, sun, champagne, chaos, and never breaking character. @othonhdutra Photo credits: @anapachecophoto

Meet the garçon, Othon Dutra. Dutra is the co-founder of Maison Des Garçons. Our garçon is a true artist, with a deep understanding of the art of hair and beauty, Dutra is dedicated in creating stunning looks and it couldn’t be any different when it comes to the aesthetics of our candles, within attention to details and meticulous sense of taste he curates his craft. A well know hairstylist in Fairfield County, over 25years in the beauty business, well known for the best blondies in the East coast, his journey started in Brazil at the young age. A bit more about Othon: *What cologne do your wear: _Acqua di Parma. I prefer citrus notes, such as Sicilian Lemons for the summer and wood notes for the winter. The “Boys du Portugal by Creed. *A favorite color? _Actually I love all the colors! I do like to mix colorful accents with patterns. *A pair of shoes? _Stubbs & Wootton’ loafers. They added just the right dosage of chicness to any ordinary style. *A favorite restaurant in Westport? _Rive Bistrô. Besides the delicious cuisine, the Saugatuck Riviera views, the carisma of the owner, Eric Sierra for always greeting us with warm hospitality. For Pizza, Romanacci of course! What is your favorite drink or cocktail? _ Champagne all the way darling! *What do love about Westport? _The New England’s charm, the artsy town. I enjoy the feeling of countryside (which reminds where I grew up), and at the same time the calming waters of Compo Beach. It’s beautiful and relaxing…. And so close to a cosmopolitan city as Manhattan. *Would like to share any thought to the viewers? _Never give up on your dreams! It doesn’t matter how hard it may look, perseverance is the right attitude and faith in God. Meet the Garçons! From Rio de Janeiro to Italy, with a layover on the south of France and destination in Westport, Connecticut, our founders Erick Vittorino and Othon Dutra designed, over the course of 4 years of research, the newest New England artisanal scented fragrances: The Maison des Garçons candles.   Erick Vittorino is an awarded Brazilian contemporary artist natural from Rio de Janeiro and has lived in Connecticut for over 18 years. Othon was raised in the alluring countryside of Minas Gerais in Brazil, and later moved to Connecticut to pursue his passion as a hairstylist, creating a successful career in the Fairfield County.  The Maison des Garçons candles were hand-poured from Erick and Othon’s Connecticut cottage, inspired by the charm of the New England home. The founders carefully created each candle scent formula with the customers’ experience in mind. The duo’s combination of their creative and artistic experiences resulted in a brand that reflectes their dedication, art, beauty and commitment to sustainability, from the scents to the packaging.  “These are not just candles, they are an art form, a lifestyle poured into jars.”  Photographer: Robert Oliver @samanthayanks @westportmagazine @theconnecticutedit #scentedcandles #candles#aristocrtats#beach#summer#westport#newengland#beachlife #cottage#barn#countrystyle #instagood#lifestyle
