In 2025, we released a lot of amazing music! Here's a sampler of it for this past year, Cone of Confusion, Othrship, BALKO and Rémi Marchand some of our fave Aussie psych artists!

Eora/Sydney-based band @coneofconfusionband takes audiences on a voyage through textural soundscapes and improvisation, travelling through dissonant musical galaxies to reach sonic utopia. Thread of Life is the first single to come out of Cone of Confusion's upcoming 3rd album due for release in in 2026.
“Expand your horizons of consciousness without taking illicit substances” ABC Radio
🦍 Sea of Nectar, their next single is coming out next Wednesday!

@othrship a progressive, psychedelic, space themed jazz rock band from Eora/Sydney and is Henry Manuell’s passion project. In this creative escape, he expresses the full range of his musical abilities and journey through the maze of his mind. A Captain's Final Message brings 🚀Othrship's interstellar narrative to its emotional peak and is the pivotal title track of an EP telling their epic space odyssey.

@balkogram is a prog and psych band from Eora/Sydney. Their single Onion sounds like Black Midi if they wrote a song for King Crimson. 🌰Composed around the main riff, the addition of layer upon layer, like an Onion, made it a full song with an explosive message.

Rémi Marchand @remisdelirium is the guitarist for Cone of Confusion as well as founder of independent label PsyconFest Records. In 2025, he made his debut solo wiht an ambient psychedelic and meditative project. Misty Mountains" was improvised and recorded live as part of a set at the Now & When bush doof, Nowendoc, NSW The whole set was released in full as an LP, "Live, Now & When".

I'm super excited to share that I've set up my printer (and a lot of other toys) in a cosy little studio, as part of the beautiful Nest Creative Space - Eora/Sydney.

Very grateful to be part of this amazing community.

Plenty of new ideas and new filaments to push further the exploration of patterns and symmetries in 3D (or more?) and to make puzzles that use maths, music and archeology 😂 More props and merch for artists most likely as well.

Make sure your schedule this Saturday includes a visit to the Nest Creative Space. 24A Bourke Rd in Alexandria for their first open doors at this location.

We're super excited to have @dovetale_ on this line-up for this Saturday's show.

Dovetale weaves themes of love and revolution into honest folk-rock ballads, led by Gadigal-based multi-instrumentalist Tom Hume. Dovetale unabashedly holds up the struggles of the oppressed and exploited, and seeks to advance the World Proletarian Revolution through increasing the revolutionary consciousness of the masses.

Also on the night we'll have @music_by_emilyrose opening and @othrship headlining for their EP launch 👌

It finally landed! 🚀 @othrship 's EP is out 📣

A Captain's Final Message brings Othrship's interstellar narrative to its emotional peak. The pivotal title track, set at the story's midpoint, connects the dots between the We Are Explorers trilogy and the Normalise single, capturing the crew somewhere on their journey in the Milky Way between their home planet and their eventual crash landing on the blue planet.
