Happy Autumn Equinox! As I start this new season of my own life, I was blessed to celebrate it as we embark upon autumn and Virgo season comes to a close in awesome fashion! Anyone who know me knows how much “I believe that children are our future…” and they are definitely my favorite humans! Thank you my beautiful, gracious daughter @ShamanMagic for making my birthday wish come true and hosting an awesome cookout in your new DOPE place! For the longest time, I never considered music producing to be something I could pursue as a career. Id been writing music since before I can remember and playing piano and singing since I was 3 (thanks mom) but other than that, making music was just something I felt in my soul, never something I felt I knew all that much about from a logistical standpoint.

It was always a hobby, a pastime, a joy filled activity. I’d never really studied it, I didn’t know all that much about music theory, I didn’t think I had the proper midi, or mic, or knowledge on how to record guitar or this or that. The list could go on. All these excuses stopping me from creating. Here’s the truth, everything I’ve learned, I’ve learned along the way.

Working with Karina has forced me to believe and trust in myself and my talent in a way I never have. We created a safe place to explore with a discovered trust in each other’s gift. I always heard musicians talking about “the thing,” whether that thing was recording an album or working in the studio. And all of it felt so far from me, untouchable almost. Until I created my own studio, piece by piece, right in my nyc shack apt bedroom.

I truly believe that working with Karina was divinely orchestrated. It all felt easy, fell right into place, and all the things that felt impossible to me, like PRODUCING AN EP FOR ANOTHER ARTIST became tangible. When something is from God, it usually tends to come at an ease that doesn’t quite make sense. It feels too good to be true. And that’s what I felt with Karina. Our creative chemistry, our bond, and our genuine love for each other will last a lifetime all because we finally made something happen all by ourselves.

I love you Karina. Working with you has been a blessing, a joy, so fulfilling and special. I will remember our time spent together for the rest of my life! And we will continue to do great things together, I just know it. Love you Karina. Thank you God for this opportunity and all of our amazing friends and family for the love and support.

New 1st AD work for Nicky boy is BLUE by Joshua Bassett.
Making a music video with your best friends/ making new friends during it, is probably the best thing one can do with their summer.
