Dad underestimated my jumping skills and 😜🐾

I LOOOVE a good game of tug of war. I want to do it EVERY morning.

I love to bring the rope or toy close to their hands, so that they can try to grab it. But I always try to pull it before they can get it.

A finger chew is another favorite add-on to tug-of-war, but my parents aren’t here for that 🤠

DID YOU HEAR IT?! 🤣🐾

Leo is 13 weeks old!! Still a baby, but acts like such a grown man sometimes in the way he can communicate so well with us.

He also loves a sunrise.

And he thinks he IS the Global Ambassador @theglobalambassadorhotel 🤣🐾

4th visit in a month- house stuff that we had to take care of and so Leo has found his second home

He really wanted that egg 🤣

I learned to STAY ✋🏼 and wait for my food this weekend! 🐾

I’m so tiny and cute, that I thought she would give in. But she did not.

Every time she would lower the bowl and I ran towards it, up it went again. So I guess I have to stay laying there to get it.

I’ll do anything for treats and food, I’m a Labrador! This makes training easy! Just VERY repetitive

Do you use the word stay, wait, or something else?

We will eventually learn PLACE, but working on calm before approaching bowl!

I’m potty trained, learning to ring bells with my paws to go potty/outside, playing fetch, cuddling, chewing like crazy, are my first carrot- loved it! And of course- “swimming” in the crock pot and baths!

We talk a lot about how technology is disconnecting us.

But I was thinking this week about how many incredible people it’s also brought into my life.

Mentors. Friends. Communities. People I’ve learned from, worked with, travelled with, genuinely feel are soul family and who I probably never would have crossed paths with if we were still limited to the people we crossed paths with in our immediate physical world.

This photo made me think about it even more.

When we were all together in Dubai, I couldn’t believe it when I found out that Ed, Paula and Oto were meeting for the first time in person. Even though they’ve been connected for years online through Oto’s Crypto Freedom Academy.

And it really got me thinking…

Years ago, our worlds were largely shaped by where we lived, where we worked and who happened to be around us.

Now, somehow, the people who are meant to cross our path can find us from the other side of the world.

The people who think differently.

The people exploring the same things.

The mentors who expand us.

The communities that feel like our people.

And then, every so often, the online world becomes the physical one ✨

For all the conversations about what technology has taken away from human connection, I’m incredibly grateful for what it’s given me.

Some of the people who’ve had the biggest impact on my life are people I never would have met without it.

That still blows my mind

WELCOME TO THE FAM, BABY LEO 🥰

Leonardo Gomes aka Leo Gomes :)

We got to meet our new family member last night on his 6 week birthday! 🎉

I watch them daily from the camera (since 3.5 weeks), and see how they all have grown and developed. It’s been such an amazing experience to see how they are cared for before he comes home with us!

When I got there, I was like- wait those are the puppies?! Because I just couldn’t believe how teeny they all were (in general, at this age). And they grow SO fast! It’s exponential in the beginning! Mama is 60 lbs and daddy is 80 lbs, so Leo will probably be a big boy 🙏🏼

He is a yellow lab/English cream lab mix. I had a black lab in college named Theodore (aka Theo), so Leonardo (aka Leo) is what we are naming our yellow lab. Leo Gomes- solid name, love it ❤️

➡️ We are open to any loving tips and favorites that will help Leo have the best life!

🔔 Labs are easy to train, but we definitely want to teach him to use a button or bell to let us know he wants to go outside.

So I’m going to go watch this on repeat for the next 2 weeks, because he isn’t quite ready to come home just yet! My actual heart is exploding. In the best way.

We wanted a lab too because they’re amazing with kids, and it’s good parenting practice for us. First we were two, now we will be 3. And more to come :)

If your workout looks like this… we’ve all been there half-assing it 😂

They’re half assing it with full asses, but bless a surgeon. No, I don’t think those are natural glutes. Or even natural looking. But as always, it’s always their choice to make!

💪🏻 Let’s grow those glutes, but not create collateral damage in the process due to poor form and going through the motions.

The goal isn’t to look like you’re exercising.
The goal is to give your body a reason to adapt.

A few quality sets will always beat 60 minutes of going through the motions.

Form is key. I’ve been strength training for almost 25 years now, and I still like to get feedback on form and minor adjustments I can make.

The form we take now can make a difference how our knees and back do later in life.

We love to workout together. Helps us bond, share a passion for looking and feeling good, support our future self, inspire and teach our future kids, and live our best quality of life!
